- On July 12th 1976 ABC Brought A Brand New Game to life that Changed Families to play it was hosted by Richard Dawson the would air on ABC and Syndication for 9 Seasons it had a super great format the show is called Family Feud.

He was amazing. I remember him from Hogan's Heros, then he participated a lot in Match Game, and thank goodness he got the big spotlight in Family Feud. What a funny gentleman. Rest in piece, make people happy on the other side!
I also watched Hogan's Heros and he was our (siblings and myself) favorite from the show. Then Match Game because he was on there. Then Family Fued became my favorite game show of all time. Just the one with Dawson.
Love musical and creative families were back then.
I wish game shows these days still allowed the hosts to interact with the contestants as much as Richard did at the beginning of the episode. Too many commercials!

And I'm surprised the strike klaxon wasn't used for Fast Money loss, especially pitiful and super close ones. To this day, the strike klaxon STILL hasn't been used in FM losses.
