Great performance and great video! During Devon 's performance of Forever Man, he smiles and points at me because he sees me and my Royal Southern Brotherhood t-shirt. Thanks for capturing that, Joan! :)
Definitely has the Allman soul but not 'Old' soul style blues chops like The Great Clapton. Nevertheless, a good cover and I believe EC would approve. A Strat would have improved the whole thing. Happy New Year, Everyone.
@@peterwebb2542 Different fiddles for different tunes. I use My old Gretsch for a lot of jazz and blues, mostly Strats and SG's in the studio, and My 3 Teles for country/rock, and whatever jam we're in, whatever sound is right at the time. After 50+ yrs. of gigging with all types of axes, My neck personally doesn't like the weight of any of My Pauls. My ol '59 weighs 8.4 lbs. and I have the same C3-C4 neck vertebrae problem that Mark Farner has these days. My '64 SG is My studio go-to when I need a dark sound....Depends on what the feel is that You're going after. Have a good one. -Smythie
Love his voice. He’s got rhythm and soul. He’s Allman blood.
Devon Allman Is So Talented , It Is Crazy, He Deserves More Recognition than he gets,Cousin Figel
Excellent choice young Allman!
Devon is excellent! I live in China, but can't wait to get back to the States and hear some of this great music!
This is a fantastic version of Forever Man. Gutsy. Bluesy, and kick ass guitar solos. Loved it!

Strats aren't the be all and end all of guitars.Personally don't like them.Always been a Gibson man.
