Beyond Pandy really caring for Zeke, it must be terrifying to consider that your own life is linked to this dying person, not knowing what will happen to your core crystal if he dies in that wilderness, and later that dread imagining you're going to be enslaved by bandits next. Being a blade really sucks. Such a powerful sequence and one that can only play out in the specific universe they created here. Props for the writers for really exploring the logical consequences of the unique rules they created for their world.
It is talked about once in the game that in ancient times Drivers and Blades used to get married, I like to think that Zeke and Pandy have this kind of relation!
Nah it ain't that, she loves him so much that if putting up with he's crazy antics makes him happy she will do it and since it is mostly childish stuff she is fine with it 😂
Sometimes I wonder about Big Bang Edge- like is that really Pandoria's weapon, or is that staff her weapon and she just powers up Zeke's weapon of choice to humor him.
Pandy is precious, It's funny how I was already really enjoying the game for 50 hours and a new duo could join the party and bench the main characters but that exactly what happened.
Really highlights just how cruel a blade’s existence is. When their driver dies they forget everything and become bound to who ever finds and awakens their core next. They have no choice who their next driver is and they can’t even mourn their past drivers. For all they know they could end up serving their previous driver’s enemy.
You can choose to see it as cruel. But it's very similar to humanity to an extent. We do not get to chose who we're born to, how we're treated, how we're raised. Tragedy will happen. Friendships will break. Lives will be taken. Some blades are revered and respected as family heirlooms, passed down through generations. Some simply are used as weapons of war by uncaring humans. Some live long lives alongside their drivers, even helping to raise their children. And pandy, out of all blades had a pretty decent lifes. Hell if you think about another way, blades will be reborn for centuries, memories or not, a human, will simply cease to be. And at the very end those same blade be one the very soil beneath the feet of the humans they lived alongside.
im starting to get tired of the characters saying stuff secret and we cant hear it just like on the ending when pyra or mythra says something and we cant hear it
This is a very difficult request forsure, but are there anyone Japanese who could decently lip-read to see what exactly he may be saying, and translate it (or google translate) to find out what it means in English? My heart tells me he’s saying something like “I love you” or something... anyways, it’d be awesome to find out!
I absolutely adore Pandoria for her sassy attitude. And you know what? Idc if it's just her glasses getitng unfogged after this cutscene, she really has displayed a lot of character development. Not as much as Rex, but Pandoria definitely has some character development on her.
Similar I think, but not exactly the same. Pyra straight up gave half of her life-force to rex. Rex is still human, but now they're linked. Pandoria and zeke are never shown having the same condition. The way I see it amalthus used his expertise to make zeke a blade eater without harming pandoria. And it kinda makes sense. Tantal was supplying indol with aether, and pandy was genbu's steering and zeke was the inheritor to the throne of tantal. These are two he doesn't want to harm.
I don’t get why the game waited to this point to clear up Pandoria’s glasses for us to see her eyes. Is there some sort of significance to this that i’m not understanding?
I thought it was because opaque circular glasses are often meant for comic relief characters in anime, and here we have this very touching moment that shows that Pandy (and Zeke) is more than just comic relief. Once her glasses clear, you can really see the gentleness in her eyes. Since she really cares for Zeke, the compassion she has can now be visibly seen~ at least that’s how I view it :)
FanSuKi I wonder how different the story would have been if she was. Likely would’ve gotten recruited by Jin, but she’s pure of heart so she would’ve likely landed in a similar situation to Nia
MaximumMillion I don’t think she’d be in a nia situation, she’d be more like mik and co I think. Their main reason is their hatred for indol, one Pandy would likely share.
NintendoBrother yeah after playing a bit more I know she would have I think conflicted because amaulthus did it (or had something to do with it) something doesn’t sit right with me with him mostly cause he’s a priest looking dude
Late to the party but this is a literary "deal with the devil". Pandoria, on the verge of death, wanted to save Zeke more than anything. Amalthus granted her wish, at the cost of part of her core crystal, her very soul. It's supposed to foreshadow his evil nature, and signify how he sees himself as something greater than the world around him. Amalthus is also the one that purifies core crystals, perpetuating their life cycle. Following the "Core Crystals are souls" analogy, it should be clear what the greater meaning is. So yes, you're supposed to not feel "ok" about it.
@Kpsla It's kind of bait-and-switch, though. You expect that Amalthus has some ulterior motive for saving them, and although it does benefit his "blade eater research" to some extent, the game reveals that Amalthus saved Zeke out of empathy. "A long time ago, I seem to recall a similar scene. Perhaps that, too, was one face of humanity." Encountering a dying Zeke in the woods gave Amalthus a flashback to the day that his mother was killed, so he did what he could to save both Zeke and Pandoria. He did all of this in spite of his fatalistic worldview. It makes Amalthus' character a bit more complex and compelling because we see that, while he is a hateful, awful person at this point, he is still capable of good.
Hey look, zeke is a decent character outside of him being a walking meme generator
Pretty much. If rebelling against his country’s isolationism didn’t clue you in that there’s more to him than being basically Team Rocket...
indeed
Glad someone agrees with me
PFFFFtt.. Architect Almighty have you done this to me! HAHAHAH
@@homuraakemi103Omg I am not the only one who think they are Team Rocket :D

That's why Jin and Malos tried to destroy everything
This is why Pandoria is a God level waifu
It is talked about once in the game that in ancient times Drivers and Blades used to get married, I like to think that Zeke and Pandy have this kind of relation!
Hugo Lafond nah I see them as more the bestest of buds
I agree! There's a lot of hints in the game to them having feelings for each other as well. Definitely my otp for this game
I see them be more like siblings
@@angiemena7265 you fuckin wrong mate, these two seem like more couples than me dogs children and his wife. They are definitely a couple.
@@vhsninjaccoon7705 well you ship them, i dont see them like that
This made me love Zeke and Pandoria even more.
A part of Pandora's core Chrystal being transplanted into Zeke probably explains why she imitates Zeke.
That outright IS why she imitates him, IIRC.
Nah it ain't that, she loves him so much that if putting up with he's crazy antics makes him happy she will do it and since it is mostly childish stuff she is fine with it 😂
pandy i love you
Mike Austin
Yeah she’s both beautiful and cute.☺️
That’s what I think he said too... something to that effect. ❤️
3:15 That SMILE
I will protect that smile
Sometimes I wonder about Big Bang Edge- like is that really Pandoria's weapon, or is that staff her weapon and she just powers up Zeke's weapon of choice to humor him.
I'd say Big Bang Edge is Zeke's weapon since he's part blade.
@@denjithechainsaw9769 nah, he’s not part blade. See Rex...

Zeke x Pandoria OTP.
I just got to this part in the story. I already liked Pandoria before, but this cemented her as one of my favorite characters in the game.
3:18 Protecc Pandy and her smile!

2LEGENDARY Aishiteru
if you still don't know Pyra says "Hello my name is Pyra" or Myrthra depending on the name you chose to call them.
JoJoey no she didn't, she either said "I love you Rex"
She would not have greeted poppi that way otherwise
oh my the grass has stabbed zeke in the torso WHAT DO WE DO!?!?!
Take Him 2 Indol U Bafoon!
That’s funny. Lol!
But what actually happened is that he was wounded right in his core. (Heart)
If you think about it; pandy might’ve become a flesh eater here if she knew how
MY HEART 😭
My first guess is that Zeke was offering his gratitude to Pandoria for saving him

Zeke my favorite character

By cleaning up their past, Pandoria's glasses clear up too. It's a way to physically show that Pandoria has nothing left to hide anymore.
@@chasingperfect28 Ah that makes sense. Thanks a lot for the clarification!

Is anyone here because of Future Redeemed? No? Anyone?!
I’m conflicted by the fact they basically took a piece of her life force away without asking but she’s ok with it so i guess it’s ok?
