Jeremy Renner in The Town and The Hurt Locker is by far his best “era” of acting. I’m not a hater when it comes to Marvel and other movies like that, I enjoy them from time to time, but movies like the ones I just mentioned and actor’s performances in them is so unique and special.
@@theone6189 I agree, those were just my all time favorites that I named. I just hate that he’s now basically a marvel character. I know that’s where you make the big bucks but still, he could do so much better.
The story is these two were lifelong friends, but the nine years Jem did at Walpole for manslaughter, killing a guy that was to kill Doug, changed him so much Doug doesn't know the guy anymore. Therein lies the problem. Jem went total sociopath. Doug hasn't reached that level.
It was just a bit of a clunky way of saying that Jem has reached the end of his rope with life. Jem has accepted the idea of "live by the gun, die by the gun." He will either make money with big score robberies, or he will accept his death. I think they cut the 50 pound horse line because Jem summed it up perfectly with, "I can't do anymore time. So if we get jammed up, we're holding court on the street." Adding more dialogue to that would just filter out how bad ass of a line that is.
I dont understand, he says funniest thing about prison is guys pretending that they want to get out? Shouldnt it be pretending they dont want to? Or does that mean they are such animals that they don't actually mind being in prison?/they are so bad they like prison?
Brian Kwiatkowski They don't want to. They cant function in society, they need that 24/7 order. A lot of military guys have it the same way. Dont know another way.
