I've been reading these things are a huge security problem b/c they have to phone home to stream. Any ideas? I think I want to get one, but afraid of the chance hidden malware coming on them.

Well, there was seven and a half minutes of useless information! what speed of internet is required to run it? ( simply down load to watch)? does each one of those downloads require paying someone else? does it have to be tied to a phone and a credit card to operate? can it be used with out a phone?
@@williamweiss1096 It requires internet to watch. It doesn’t say what is the internet speed requirement, but mine is only 50-60 Mbps and works fine. Just as clearly mentioned in the video, the apps come with the box. Not sure to understand your last questions. Why would you even need a phone or credit card “connected” to the device to operate. Makes no sense. It’s not a subscription box.

What do you mean by phone home? You do need WIFI to stream
