I was at that first show.. Artbeat 2 event in a special arched stone venue called zoobizarre .. Didn't think much of his music at the time but he had an irrefutable charisma, and a lot of people had shown up for him. If I'm not mistaken he was the first to go and I remember thinking I wouldn't want to go after him because they raised a lot of noise hahaha.
I was really shook when I heard everything he came up with shortly after, I think he grew really quickly musically and found his niche super early. Love what he's doing and I'm glad his talent is getting celebrated

In agreement with Rubin where I can’t wait till Kaytra gets to produce a *full body of work* for a singer. 99.0% was good, but BUBBA is what made me obsessed, buying vinyl and everything. His work with Tinashe is always dope, so maybe he’ll do an album for her.

  • @UrbanNoizeMusic

Literally beat for beat (no pun intended lol) Kaytranada is telling my story on how learned to do beats and music. From learning how to loop drums in virtual dj, to eventually being introduced to FL studios. As well as the fact that I was releasing my own remixes as well. And oh yea were both Haitian 😂

So funny Kay doesn't even know he is responsible for the current sound of music. Got IF on record, so glad I bought that back in the day... had to get it shipped from USA to UK.
