This was a cool video to stumble across. My mother was born in Monahans in the early ‘30s. I remember her telling me about Monahans, but I’ve never gotten to actually see it. She would tell me about the storms that would blow up from the Sand Hills, and how it would leave piles of sand inside the houses along the windowsills and doors, and how she and her father would ride horses out into the sand hills and go rattlesnake hunting. It is nice to actually see a bit of her past here.
Thanks bro. The only cons, at least for me is that the dunes have too much weeds/bushes 🤦♂ I don't mind that but as a hobbist photographer yes lol All because I'd like to take a pic of nice and clean dunes. It's a pain in the neck to travel all the way to California (Glamis Dunes, Death Valley Dunes) again, just for that 🤣🤣 I'm from Tx. I was wondering also about the White Sands Park in New Mexico. Ever been there? Cheers.
I definitely agree with you about the bushes, it’s reallly hard to find a nice clean spot. But it’s cool to visit all of the dunes atleast once. Thanks for watching!
Thank you Doug!! If you have the mobile app called ‘Shazam’ you should be able to have the songs pop up within seconds! It’s an awesome app I use all the time. 99% of the songs I use are on a platform called Epidemic Sound, they’re great

It makes me sad the the Kermit sand hills have almost been leveled. Thank goodness the Monahans hills were declared a State Park.
I haven’t heard of those, but I’m also thankful for Monahans, it’s such a cool place
Wait, nevermind. I just went into your channel and noticed you did go to White Sands Haha! I'm gonna check out that video!
I hope you like it!

You didn't mention "the world's largest oak forest" inside and surrounding the park.
I did not know that, that’s awesome!
