Are there many places to get water along the way? Apart from the toilets that say 'Not suitable for drinking!'
We got water from the camps we stayed at. There were also several very small streams that could be used. But it does take an effort to ration what you’ve got

Thanks! I’m using the iPhone 11 Pro on 1080 with 60fps. I think the first few videos I posted TH-cam cut the quality down but they should be 1080 on all the recent ones! It’s so nice having the 2x zoom and the wide angle lens
@@aStrayLife did you do something that it would stop cutting the quatlity? I am not sure if it's also cutting mine or not.
@@walkingestonian I'm not sure. I was uploading from the iMovie app directly to youTube but I don't think they let you do that anymore.
If this is New Zealand, why is it not the 144.841 Kilometer Beach?
No idea why it has that name. It’s not even that long!
SurfK9 the beach is actually 90 (or 88) km long. The error might be a misunderstanding, but there is also a theory that some people who went up the beach by horse figured that they traveled a certain amount of miles per day, and they were off their usual mark.
