Just a big quick thank you to all Dr Lori's staff who are working hard editing & uploading videos while she is away on a cruise. You & your work are seen & appreciated.
My mother yelled at me the other day in the thrift store "get out of the glass section" I had to get that uranium glass 😂 and dang rights I did I love your videos dr Lori!!
Thank you so much ... I found you right after I opened up a booth inside an antique & collectables mall in Navasota TX.. love your Wisdom.. thank you for sharing it.. You are Always welcome here in TX.. 🎉❤
My sister and I have that carnival glass. We have, I guess you could call cranberry sauce dishes. They are long. My sister has our mom's and my daughters' girlfriend gave me her mom's. They are beautiful. I also have the orange bowls and a carnival glass candy dish that is like a plate/ bowl with a line between the bowl. She used to have a lot of the milk glasswares. She had ducks, bowls, chickens. My sister and I didn't know what to do with them, so we gave them to Goodwill. I should have kept a few of them, too. Thanks for the information!!!!
I appreciate that not only do you get right to it and don't drag out videos like some people do (time is limited for us, too. 🙂), but that you also make certain to show us many items, not just a few, so your videos are packed with good and helpful information. 😊
Thank you for the video. It was good as always. I have a question. When you were talking you made statement. Lets lk for a bargain. Your hand passed over red green gold cup and a platter. I have some small platters in those colors. What do you call color . Thanks
Dr. Lori, we lived in Germany when it was known as W.Germany & we have lots of steins from volksmarching(late 80's). Would those be worth more with a "West German" mark? Thank you!
@DrLoriV Thank you so much for replying! Unfortunately, those pieces are packed since we're moving. Hopefully, I can get them checked once we're settled. We have at least 50-75, so we do have a lot! lol Thxs again!
Now THAT'S a thrift store! Most of the thrift stores in my area think they're antique shops.

I boxed so much of my mother in law’s dishes and things. I’m so glad I kept them until I understand what I have.
The white flowers on the stein are edelweiss.

Many factors affect value. I need to see your pieces to determine their value. Check out my website for options

Is that chip bowl specifically for chips? I have a similar shaped bowl (no transfer design). I tried using it as a trifle bowel.
I'm just curious, why do you wear gloves at thrift stores? Thanks for the videos!
Watch me explain my gloves in the video at th-cam.com/video/0gxhyPngbHI/w-d-xo.html
