- Hace un tiempo Frank me conto que se queria deshacer de las consolas y juegos que venia guardando hace muchos años, y me pregunto si yo las querria para hacer videos y contenido. Obviamente dije que si, y unos meses mas tarde aca estamos, descubriendo QUE HAY EN LA CAJA???
No se imaginan todo lo que hay en la caja.

Si, jajaja. Le dije lo mismo, ahora estoy obligado a un par de videos por cada consola, y a al menos un video por cada juego, en tremendo compromiso me meti. Muy raro el nombre que le pusieron a ese juego en norteamerica, si, jajaja

Most of these came from my sibling's house, they ended up collecting them once I moved out. They added a couple of items to it but never really got around to cleaning them up and restoring them. These are the things that survived, although there were some notable casualties like our Atari 2600. But yeah they've been stored in boxes, and I'm sure some of them have nice blankets of dust inside of them. We used to have even more copies of Super Scope 6. They came with the SNES, that's also where Uniracers came from I think.
The game genie doesn't work with the cleaner because the cleaner is missing the slot that the SNES would slot in to. Same thing you found when you couldn't open the slot with the power on, it would keep the cartridge from being pulled out while it was on.
I really don't know where that USB SNES controller came from, but it's pretty cool anyways.
The game enhancer is a thing for the PS1, I think. Plugs in to the back.
I hope the SEGAs still work, they were still together when I boxed them up. I'm sure the phone line will be invaluable though. They're built like tanks so there is hope!
I'm sorry for the condition of everything, I was cringing every time you touched something filthy. Thank you for making the video, though I really enjoyed listening/reading your stories. PTO is an amazing game, btw. And reminded me of when Square was a good producer. It was also super interesting to see which games you'd heard of. Some of those games I've also never played, so I'll keep an eye out for any playthroughs you post :D

I didn't know that the Superscope 6 (why 6 and not Super Scope SNES? lol) came with the SNES, that also explains a lot, I'm sad that they would not work with a modern TV, it would have been hilarius to try to find a SuperScope and play with them, hahaha
Yeah, I looked like an idiot, I didn't know that it had a lock for the cartridge, I literally feel like a kid playing with these things for the firsm time.
The USB SNES is cool, but it was surprisingly out of context, lol
I been reading about the Game Enhancer, I really want to test that out, supposedly it might let you play japanese games!
Don't be sorry, it's part of the fun! I'm not a "collector", so it's not like I'm on ebay looking to buy stuff in mint condition inside a clear box. I like to think that my purpose is to give a second life to these things, so if they have problems, lets fix them, if they are dirty, lets clean them. It's been a long time since the last time that I saw Square logo, that was something that I was not prepared, I guess I will get into that in future videos, since the Enix story is super interesting too.
I have made a spreadsheet with all the games, so definetely we will play all of them! Maybe not till the end because some RPGs are like 60 hs each, lol

¡Estuvo bastante emocionante todo lo que tu amigo Frank te regaló! Tengo el mismo modelo de Playstation 1998 (pero ya no funciona) y la última versión más compacta del 2001 (esta última sí funcionando todo perfectamente). Por cierto, ambas son formato NTSC; en mi país funciona la misma norma norteamericana. Igualmente, tengo la misma versión de Super NES 1991, y con el mismo problema de que, con el tiempo, el plástico de la carcasa se tornaba amarillento. Por esto me llamó la atención que la segunda que te regaló aún estaba, al menos la parte de arriba, con su color original gris. Me hiciste reír, cuando sacaste la Sega Genesis II y mencionaste si aún podemos llamar al teléfono de la etiqueta para ver si aún nos pueden asesorar, jaja. Fantástico lo de la Sega CD, aunque habrá que hacerle un buen trabajo de restauración allí. Me encanta el diseño de la primera versión de Sega Genesis, y, para mi, es una de las consolas más bonitas creadas . Para terminar, lo de la colección de cartuchos para Super NES estuvo genial. Bastantes RPGs, pero el Chrono Trigger es una joya, literalmente hablando; ya que, tengo entendido, uno original cuesta bastante en la actualidad. Y, sin embargo, ninguno se merecía tener dos copias sino sólo el "Super Scope 6" jaja. ¡Saludos cordiales, y un reconocimiento especial a Frank por esa magnífica donación!
Ahi me dijeron en otros comentarios que en America continental parece que siempre se distribuyo la version NTSC de America del Norte de las Playstation 1, yo no sabia eso, pense que a Argentina habian llegado las versiones PAL Europeas. Todos los dias se aprende algo nuevo.
Coincido en que la Sega Genesis fue esteticamente una de las consolas mas lindas que hubo. Y si, vamos a tener que trabajar en la Sega CD.
Claramente Superscope es mejor juego que Chrono Trigger, por eso todo el mundo tiene varias copias, jajajaja.

Yo cometi el error de prestarselo a un primo, y nunca volvio.
Solo tuve un Family Game, alrededor de los 9/10 años, por eso quise estudiar Electrónica. Estaba perdidamente fascinado con que al apretar un botón algo pasaba en el televisor y los adultos no tenían idea. Me la pase con emuladores, como una persona de bien. Luego tuve una PsP que me la pasé más escribiéndole soft que jugando.
Que divertida la PSP!!! Yo tenia un monton de emuladores en la mia, fue una gran consola.
@@ArJorge1987 Llegué a desarrollar algunos plugins, uno me la bricked... Así que tuve que construir una batería Pandora con la batería que tenía. Aún funciona.
Que miedo brikearla, pasaba un monton de tanto toquetearles el soft. Muy bueno!
Todas las consolas en ASIA y America son NTSC. PAL es EUROPA mayomente. Pal en argentina era mas con los VHS. En las consolas tipo PS1 en adelante ya era todo NTSC y tener un TV TRINORMA:
Buen dato, yo no tuve ninguna consola de la epoca de la PS1, asi que por logica pense que seguian importando las PAL, America del norte siempre fue NTSC, pero Argentina siempre fue PAL, que las Tvs hayan venidos con modo Binorma a finales de los 90s es otro tema. La clasica era "Se ve en blanco y negro" cuando no tenias la norma, jajaja. Pero bueno, si, se ve que me equivoque en pensar que en Argentina quizas se uso la PS1 PAL. Gracias por el dato!
