- I decided to recreate (about half of) the SMG4 episode 'SMG4 Doesn't Meme For 1 Second' as accurately as possible. This was a fun little experience. Gonna resume work on the Mr puzzles origin story animation now.

As promised: I had a fifth power cut while rewatching this video here on TH-cam.
i spotted that on the spazzing scenes like in dr SMG3 it really did not have the thruster technique or just hiding the thruster did you want to make it as different so it doesn't really copy the look of the og

Well, after seeing the comparisons, I think I have some advices of your videos.
Firstly, move the characters more exaggerating, and make the movements faster if needed.
Secondly, use as much secondary actions as you can. People may seeing these things as an Easter egg.
Thirdly, line the camera to a well angle, like the SMG4 got into the van shot, put the camera on the front instead of the side.
And last but not least, when there are dark shots, put the lighting on the side.
I’m also a Gmod animator, and if I won’t make you. We are all learning to animate like SMG4
I’ve seen your animations are much more similar to his, and the techniques.

I love that u added that 3:21, and also I think there were some improvement’s over the original, like how everyone was in the group huddle is an example, and we can’t forget about some of the added jokes too
The comedic timing of Mr. Puzzles just being …. well there 😅😂, is just pure comedy. It kind of reminds me of 2016-2018 SMG4 videos with Bob where Bob was just seen as a nuance 😂; but this time Mr. Puzzles is a guy that no one in the SMG4 universe likes (for obvious reasons😒).
I really do think that this an appropriate role for Mr. Puzzles in future SMG4 videos; a character that just wants to be included; thinking he is more deserving to be part of the main cast, but him just being… well “😈EVIL😈” kind of makes that pretty hard 😂.
I'm surprised that SMG1 and 2 were in on SMG4's meme detox. I'm guessing even they know when to draw the line.

I like how you utilized the minor characters way more by both the scene where SMG4 is spreading the fish meme around and that little huddle showing more of the characters. They should do that more in the episodes.

Wanna know the saddest thing about that episode besides the out-of-place scripting? That episode was the only time in 2024 in which SMG4 used his meme energy discovered in Genesis (2021) and Revelations (2022). Too bad we won't have any of those this year due to Robin resigning from her role as SMG2 in support of Celeste after she got replaced by Glitch in her role as Tari without consent. Celeste's side of the controversy is yet to be resolved, and I'm still not getting used to the new VA for Tari.

Yeah, I also like how this remake even includes underused ones like Kaizo and Bowser. The original video and modern SMG4 are still good, but I do agree that the main problem is how they overuse certain characters and neglect others

The reason is cus the showgrounds isn't officially available and the only fan maps don't have interiors which was needed.

I would definitely want to see more reanimations of smg4 videos or even original ideas simply without voice acting (maybe even with the old designs of smg4, smg3, bob, and bobkins because they are superior in every single way)
(Also i love that everyone is in peaches castle and not that circus tent excuse for a castle)

Not going to lie. This is pretty good. Not the best but like they have like a whole entire team. At least I think so. Who knows, but pretty good. I think you should maybe have like some more poses but I don't even know the first thing to this. Awesome. I've been rambling on for a while now
