project ruori performs "sparrow" live @ electro-music 2007

A composition for electric viola, software, voice, and interactive video. All audio was produced live from Ashley's electric viola and Tariq's voice. very cool effects with the viola! at first i was a little doubtful that the tone would work out in your favor...but then i saw how that was the effect you were going for.

By attending a recital of composer violists - Rudolf Haken & Genevieve Knoebel - I learned how awesome pieces written for software & electric viola are. I looked for more & discovered your "Sparrow". It's fantastic!
The addition of the narrator & visual imagery is inspiring.
