56:09 Kamala Harris gives me uneasy vibes and nearly everything about her reeks of inauthenticity and subtle darkness. As someone that has studied US Presidents, she strikes me as an individual who has LBJ's thirst for power - minus the charm. She has Carter's soft mettle - minus the sincerity. She has Ford's ineptitude - minus the integrity. And perhaps worst yet, she seems to have Obama's self absorbed love of his (her) own story that Chapo eluded to a few episodes ago - minus the compelling orator and persuasion skills. It would be well advised to look into her career as prosecutor and Attorney General of California. Kamala persistently sought to uphold wrongful convictions because she was the type of lawyer that other lawyers call "obsessed with winning." The entire trajectory of her climb up the ladder was based on this, at the expense of the clients she was sworn to serve. She is no less an opportunist than any of the Men on the above list. Amber is also correct to draw a distinction between Kamala and Hillary Clinton. Say what you want about HRC, but at least she made a name for herself after Bill's days in Arkansas and went on to become one of the most influential Senators in US Congress of the last 30 years. Clinton is dull and out of touch, but she's a fighter. KH, on the other hand, her campaign capitulated at the hands of Tulsi fucking Gabbard, a person who the media made sure to give limited screen time to because of her being an anathema to the establishment. Harris literally couldn't defend herself on stage, and a 2 minute soundbite ended any hopes she had of being the nominee. I am also convinced of the theory that Joe Biden didn't even want to pick her as VP and that instead he succumbed to the whims of Blue Checkmark Twitter. What did Kamala bring to the ticket, exactly? Nothing. Biden was already monopolizing the African American vote well before the voting started. She was polling in the low single digits. Plus, she's from California. Plus, she's an unknown variety that nobody gives a shit about. She is without a doubt the establishment pick that he had to yield to. The ultimate problem with Kamala is that this whole phenomenon about her feels CONTRIVED as fuuuuck. It's so...hollow.
Biden chose Harris because he had fundraisers with each of his prospective VP picks, and she raised the most $$$. That may be why she had the establishment's blessing, or the establishment's will/blessing may be why she raised the dough. Though I really like what they said a while back -- Biden chose her because she's a "pretty nurse," and his second State of the Union address will be that "Kamala stole money from my dresser."

Wow! This is why I listen. No predictions even remotely correct. You would think people would review our predictions after the fact and adjust in the future, but we never do.
I think it might have been the old hot couch segment, but somebody proposed a kind of cooldown room being a hit couch room where you play Halo on the original Xbox and that sounds like what we're talking about here.
This was anti-prophetic: JD Vance will likely be Ohio's next Senator. Also Felix has told his fantasy of the Aubrey McClendon crash death many times. It wasn't an exotic car, it was a 3yo Chevy Tahoe. It wasn't 120 mph, it was 80 mph. It wasn't a wall, it was an overpass abutment. And the coroner's report was inconclusive but speculated a medical event, that there was no evidence of suicide. But Felix keeps embellishing his own wild version including totally inaccurate details: vehicle, velocity, location, intent.
lol i was not at all expecting them to bring up Ink Masters. ive been binging that show and im pretty sure the fanbase is 50 year old chuds and stoner pink floyd girls
I understand the relationship between quarantine boredom and shitposting. I get it. But commenting on a 1 1/2 hour video only 3 minutes after it was first published? There's an extra heightened sense of unfocused nervous energy in the air.
@@SpriteSpriteTV I get that this is not their primary distribution medium, but it was only posted here today. I mean, commenting on a podcast on a forum other than the one where you actually consumed it is almost as weird. It's not like this is a major worldwide release. You're positing some kind of fanbase on continual pilgrimage, like Phish or whatever. Maybe that is a thing, but I would be shocked to death if this podcast inspired one.
@@Yeaokayyea There isn't enough volume to really move the needle. It would be hilarious if they tried some kind of GameStop-type market-breaking activity. But, you know, the platforms would just limit comments per IP or something.

It amazes me that so many people don’t see through her phony persona, the creepy insincere laugh alone is just a big NO!!!!!

"She's suppressing the urge to stab everyone who's talking to her." -- perfect assessment. Also very on point for a prosecutor.

It's even worse-they have enthusiasm for her because Hillary Clinton told them that she was her heir.
Subtle darkness? That sounds outright freudian
Amber's improv joke is a worthy finale of a truly legendary episode
what did she say? it sounded like "especially mean the rape"...? if that is what she said, i don't get it.

It was a case of Surge that never sold in the back of a gas station where I worked, dusty af and surprisingly still good.
Surge never goes bad, as long as you don’t open the can the EXTREME ENERGY keeps it shelf stable

We should call this the amber frost show. She just can't shut up, despite her obvious limitations.
Huh? Seems like she contributed about as much as anyone else.
