I still prefer this design for Vash compared to Trigun Stampede, like, yeah, the updated outfit is cool, and they could have just updated this one keeping it closer to this or closer to the manga version, but maybe stylized a bit more rather than the over haul, like, the robotic arm was always hidden and you couldnt even tell that it was thinner than his actual arm cause of how baggy the sleeves of his trench coat were.
well yeah, i think they missed a lot :/ Old Vesh was a mystery and gradually revealed himself, and the characters were deeper. BUT - I was especially offended by the fact that they forgot to put the musical accompaniment - in the original series, an amazing soundtrack plays very often :3 and sometimes it even brought about a pleasant resonance when this perky melody began to play closer to the end of the series - when there was no longer any time for laughter •-• another minus: the self-sacrifice of their mentor: in the original she did not get into the capsule because she went to restart the program to save people! she died as a hero ._, but in the new one for some reason she just didn't get into the capsule with the brothers, come on, there seemed to be a place there, I agree that the shot of her disappearing in a fireball from the explosion in front of Vesha's eyes is very effective :> but meaningless! It would have been possible to show how Vesh hacks the cameras from the capsule and see how she dies saving the ship - this is both a feat and Vesh's trauma! At the same time, my brother would have shown a couple of angry emotions when he saw this well, okay, in principle - the new season is also quite fun ^_^ the graphics are very good, and also Knives' power was revealed much better :⟩ [in the first series he was mostly somewhere behind the scenes or in supporting roles] I think it would be much better as a longer-running series - it would open up, it needs many seasons (then they can win quality over quantity .^.) film* which i highly recommend, great watch for any trigun fan. not only is it incrediby fun, but it directly adds onto vash's themes and struggles as a character.
