    Thank you Tal for introducing us to all these different communities!! The Rebbe had far reaching influence on all the Jews in the world.

    As a Jew, you're quickly becoming one of my favorite fellow Jews to watch. You make great content, and your series you did with Yehuda in the West Bank was eye opening for me. You are truly doing a great Mitzvah by showing how our people are thriving around the world and teaching others about us, hell even teaching me things I didn't know about other Jews. Planning a trip with my older sister to Israel for the end of the year and your videos were a big influence for me wanting to go (plus I've never been). Toda Raba, and keep up the great work Tal!

      Every time someone starts with "As a Jew..." I get nervous. This one was a very nice comment. 🙂

      That's so exciting! I always get excited when people say they are going to Israel for the first time (there's nothing like your first time!). Have a great time!!

    Happy birthday Clatt. Question: If I was hanging out with you during this video what would I have been able too do and not too do since I’m not Jewish?

    • @skontheroad
      @skontheroad ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You would be able to participate in all of it! You can visit the synagogue and follow along in the prayer book. Obviously there are some things you don't know how to do, so you would just observe. But otherwise, there is nothing that is "for Jews only".

    Tal - Thank you for showing the Jewish community of Thailand; however, I have 1 criticism....Stop patronizing those old Rabbis and start helping the young Jewish children....Some of my old friends and acquaintances in the Americas, Europe and the World will protest you if you don't start helping the needed young Jewish children.....Remember Charity and Social Justice.....I am so glad you are considering Burma/Myanmar...There has been political unrest in Burma the last 2 years....I wish you lots of luck in Burma....Your help will be forever grateful......Thank you....

      Is there a specific community of young Jewish children you'd like to see me help? If there is let me know and I'll look into it!

    Yeshuah is our Messiah. You can read the New Testament written by our Jewish People.

      @samsilverman824 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @thelucky....the Messiah has not yet come. He WILL come but only on HaShem's clock not on YOURS or the CHURCH'S. Check out RABBI Tovia Singer to see how FAKE the "NEW TESTAMENT" is. The TORAH will never be replaced or superceded...Isaiah 54:10. It is immutable.

    • @samsilverman824
      @samsilverman824 ปีที่แล้ว

      @woraponn.....there is no such thing as a palestine or a palestinian people. They R ARABS & they came from SYRIA...JORDAN...EGYPT. They never called themselves palestinian until 1967. "PALESTINE" was never a COUNTRY/POLITICAL ENTITY. Ever. It's an illegal name invented by the conquering ROMANS when they occupied ISRAEL. ISRAEL is JEWISH property coz HaShem said so. Period. Stop being IGNORant of historical fact.

    I was last in Bangkok by Rabbi Kantor probably 20 years ago. It is crazy to see how much it has grown! Wow! I knew that they had a strong community (my friends father lives there) that has both people who live there and a lot of Israeli backpackers, most of whom stop in Bangkok when they go on their post-Army service backpacking trip (where some tend to go a little nuts, and the Chabad house has famously been a place where they can feel grounded in SE Asia, either on the start or end of their trip. Or in between!). But I didn't realize how large of a permanent community they service. Kol hakavod to the Kantors!
    I have sent donations over the years--glad to see it was put to good use!

    Thanks Tal! Too bad R Kantor wasn't around for this one, but he comes into the hood here (Crown Heights) once in a while. Partied in one of the many sukkahs with him last Sukkot. Really, really nice new Chabad House and very happy how it turned out!!!! Very satisfied what my donation contributed to. Would love to check it out personally. Keep up these great videos and especially this series!! Hatzlachah brother!!!

    how the hell do they live in Thailand whilst not consuming any porks? and limited seafood option?

    • @bluu389
      @bluu389 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Vegetarians, monks, vegans also do it haha, enjoy the amazing tropical fruits and vegan food places. Pork is common with the Thai locals, it's just unfortunately one of the least healthy options. Locals also like the fruit and mango sticky rice.

    • @chavandposh
      @chavandposh 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bluu389 its differ from avoiding meat isnt it? if ur jew or muslim in thailand, you still have choice, but if you want strictly no pork, including by-products of porks, such as lards, gelatins used in bakeries and various food products that will b difficult isnt it?

    • @bluu389
      @bluu389 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@chavandposh Yes in rice soup the pork fat, oyster sauce, seafood in marinade and such it can be tricky. But with all the fruit, vegan food places and bakeries, Pad Thai, Mango sticky rice and such options and cooking yourself it's possible. Because of the good fruit, many vegan restaurants it's a bit of a Paradise for vegans. In the rural areas maybe they understand the Thai word for vegan ( mswarirat (or so not sure lol)), because monks eat mostly no animal products, only few 'cheat' and aren't so strict.
