THANK YOU!!! people seem to hate "new" minecraft players who have recently joined, but the truth is, the game wouldnt exist without new players who keep paying mojang for it
I wake up, it's dark. I can't see anything, except the face of death closing in. I can't remember anything......my mind is blank........ What was that sound? The agony of tortured souls parts a cloud in my mind, and I remember...... I have to get out. I have to punch my way out through solid rock, breaking nearly all my fingers. I can only hope they aren't too close....... I was in a cave. I don't remember how I got here. All i know is, they're nearly here.... go faster..... Seed: Gargamel
There's something incredibly mesmerizing and nostalgic about this track. I can barely compare it to anything. All I can say is that "Sleepless" is the perfect name for it.
I used to come across this song when I would look for the minecraft track Taswell in the upcoming recommends. I guess the algorithm changed based on my preferences over time, because it stopped getting recommended, and I couldn't figure out how to get to it. Now nearly four years later I have finally found it again. I could never remember the name or the album, just the giant slime pic lol. I had so much trouble finding this again.
@KevorkienMD Actually, he didn't choose the name or the cover. He was composing this music for a game called Circle, I think that funny little circle guy had something to do with the gameplay... But then the whole Circle game was canceled... And C418 had a soundtrack without a game. Then he released it on bandcamp.
Idk why but c418 and minecraft will never not be said in the same sentence when talking about music, sounds, or most importantly the memories we will never forget...
I can't help but listen to the c418 song "Minecraft" after reading this. I think i'll go start a new world, with new peaks, new caves and new dangers. I'll forge for wood and food to get me through that first night. While hiding in a cave, with nothing but portent sounds beckoning outside my feeble and hastily constructed door to keep me company; I'll take solace in the thought of it not being the destination, but the journey that is the achievement.
For real. Circle in general should be put on Apple Music/Spotify. The fact that it’s an abandoned soundtrack makes no difference; it’s amazing as a standalone album.
Givin' some kind of Aliens vibe, deep space and what not. Like traveling through deep space or some how seeing footage of something traveling through that nebula or star cluster as one would in a space ship :D
I know about version changers and have been using them for a while. The thing that I miss is the first few times I played the game. I could always revert back to an old update but I can never revert to November 2010.
I understand, nothing was lost from minecraft except you interest in it. It gets to the point where you've built the tallest tower, created a fortress that keeps you safe, mined to the foundations of the earth, found the diamonds, conquered hell and just as you gaze from your lofty peak, having triumphed over all, you lose. The pixelated sun sets and the cubes signifying your achievement lose their luster. you turn off the game and close your computer, knowing it will never be the same again
To be honest, I myself preferred the old Minecraft. Reason being that it was simple and it fell that I was really alone in the world of Minecraft. Now there's mods and everything, and the game is all happy and dandy. Just my opinion.
@Bawsy1993 close, but i think it's more like the 1st day on a map, and you havent found any coal. night is fast approaching, you don't have a bed, and you must wait it out. you keep digging further into the earth, hearing the screams of zombies and spiders behind you...
My early memories of Minecraft were the most fun, when I was new to the game. It had a new feeling to playing it at that point. Go ahead and call me a hipster as well. I don't care. I still have fun with the game but the play experience is not the same as it was when it was new to me. I think that is the point @davidvanbrakel69 was trying to make.
something about this music almost gives me that what have i been missing feeling when i play minecraft. its like a psycological thriller but in music form... if that makes any sense
Those saying Minecraft was better before: You may be right on some level, but you're probably also bored of it from playing so much. I'm just now getting into it, and it is already among my top 5 or 10 games ever.
@Tijlifecore Minecraft a game where imagination can make endless possibilities happen. It's where your mind comes to the surface in the form of a single block :D
I started playing in 1.7 beta and the Game was great. It was still great 1.8, 1.0, and its still my nr2 Game -After LoL (do i smell a New discussion???)
I know what You mean , I deleted my first ever world. Big mistake , it was there that all the awesomness happened. Exploration without knowing much about crafting , mysterious world & the first night.
@Showbert1 Yes. When you discover the end, you must defeat enderdragon. Once that is done, you have beaten Minecraft. You'll see what I mean, for the sake of no spoilers.
Wow. I wonder why this video has so many views. Of all the non-Minecraft C418 songs, why does this one in particular have almost 150k views? Well I can't complain, because I do really like this song.
As someone who has been playing since Alpha 1.0_15, I feel the need to intervene that while the gameplay is certainly not the same it is not any less enjoyable. People who are still playing 2-3 years on simply find different ways to play. If someone doesn't enjoy MC anymore, that's fine, but for many people Minecraft is no less enjoyable.
This guy must be so rich now that over 14million buys, he will probably get about 1dollar out of each of them 15dollar games sold, seen as he produced a lot of the audio o:
It makes me sad so many of these comments are from over 5 years ago
Agreed
I didn't notice till now
That’s crazy to think that much time past but in a historical sense 5 years is meaningless
Me too
it makes me sad this reply was 10 months ago.
Definitely a unique song, heard no other like it. I wish that I could find more like this one.
You and me both
@@meylinfoxtry tripping to this song
this song seems to make a lot more sense when you haven't slept in a few days
After 10+ years this song is still amazing. Takes me back to the 2010s all over again. I’m already nostalgic😂 covid hit me hard bro.

This song is awesome. I just love it.

Funky how peopple automaticly relate Minecraft to C418. xD It's so fun to watch these battles against old and recent players of the game!
idk y but I find the midde of all his songs are the highlight of the song
this kind of sound is why big companies shouldn't own the rights outright. We have hidden artists in every field

Glad you found it again. It's a magical piece of music.

Awesome music.
6 people have no idea have no idea what real emotional eletronica music is!
Beautiful song, my favorite on Circle. Super groovy and super nostalgic sounding.
I remember when minecraft wasn't a popular thing. Those were the days
oh you didn't know...
Remember when all Minecraft music was just 3418.
@@barbiereina8790 ... _C_ 418?

The starting melody sounds like “Suspense” from Doom e1m5. Nice touch on an old classic.
My head hurts...
Firestorm Blizzard lol me too
C148 is a pretty cool guy... he uses major sevenths and doesn't afraid of anything.
The beginning of this song "Sleepless" sounds like how I feel when I'm having insomnia

Ya
Can I please come back to your time of minecraft? In the future Microsoft buys it and kills the true ‘feeling’ of minecraft
I find the best way to play minecraft is a couple of months at a time but then to walk away for a year, all the new updates help it feel new again.
this makes me cry and smile at the same time amazing, simply amazing
This is like the best music ever. It's very very relaxing and actually puts me in a good frame of mind ^.^
This song should be more popular.

the MC soundtrack makes me sad now, i remember the alpha of the game and wish i could go back

pure genius
Neato! Undertones of 'Autechre', nice smooth synths, a poppy tempo. What more could you want?
I think this fits well with new Ender biomes.
I am immediately tense and I don't know why.
i love this music
It's a game where endless possibilities can happen. Where the imagination helps you build anything you want. And so much more.
As a musician trying to make it in the video game industry like C418, I aspire to have such insightful arguments under my videos like this one does.
So much hate in this comments. It fits to the song. HOLY CRAP!
Aaaand the playlist starts over again! Haha, and I am not even gonna turn it back off.
i had a hard drive failiure in 1.4.7 i lost everything, but the only thing i miss, is my first world
I bet the nostalgia would be overwhelming if you played that first world now, it's been 5 years since you said this
I know about version changers and have been using them for a while. The thing that I miss is the first few times I played the game. I could always revert back to an old update but I can never revert to November 2010.
Makes me feel like I'm looking into a valley full of Creepers, Skellys and zombies. I have only a Diamond Sword and a bow with 144 arrows.
nay I say
the achievement of it all loses its luster but then after a while turns into a nostalgic one.

this is about Steve in the night with a bed or house and he is roaming in the cold night looking for shelter and he heard...him.
Please, that's a bit cringy. And that's not at ALL what the song is about

Minecraft has some amazing music and I'm glad I now know who made it.
@scrappydeathbringer Yea i was too tired to understand the full amazingness of this song :P
@Pali729 You can buy the album and then put the music files in the Minecraft sound files :D

@0sliter0 Although I have no idea what you just said.... I agree!!
@hunterstory7 It says that because all the music in MC is made by him.
it sounds like the beginning of a very violet action movie
Thats just what i hear it sounds like it has some serouis hardcore action
That or a post apocalyptic feel
Or some sort of Criminal heist
2 people saw the circle and got their minds blown
@Krondelo Yes I know. I'm asking if anyone knew the name of that song in the trailer.
@NoBrainerCartoons YES.
I think its ironic how c418 makes music for minecraft (a game based around cubes) and yet his cd cover is a circle. :D
By the way, C418's real name is Daniel Rosenfeld and he's german :]
What the hell body? Still giving me tingles 8 minutes in!?
@hunterstory7 its called 'Droopy likes ricochet'
its the inspiration behind the slime.

@frogman7721 this is not the cd cover of the minecraft soundtrack. This is another album from c418 which has nothing to do with minecraft
