Took me a while to get used to it, but after that, I basically use Darkness Trigger as my "I'm gonna end this boss' whole career" button on the last 3rd of their health. The song makes it even better. I even finished off the final boss in the Boss Rush mode with it.

To be honest the power reminds me of megaman battle network's dark chips. In the game once you use it the grant you lots of power but in exchange for your health. I really liked the feature and I mostly use the Dark Trigger for emergency.
@@angelodavidmarabolivarela9505 you right but Chaos unison does not hurt you since you can control it but if you fail to use it all it does is summon a dark clone and hurt you for a limited time.
Play this like Specter Knight New Game +(Shovel Knight) or Ray Campaign (Mighty No.9) - Lose HP over time if not attacking - All Ex Weapon enhance with stronger attack power and attack pattern,but can't be use manualy - Can't be deactivate until moving to next stage sagment,get K.O or hit cutscene - Unlimited EX Weapon Energy

I believe the EX Weapon is actually based off of the Butterfly Effect. As in she got data from its power when it driven Blade crazy. Pretty much its a darker version of the Muse's power. Due to how the Butterfly Effect is pretty much twisting up the Muse Septima with you-know-what-is-shown later.
It would be interesting to see an alternate ending depending if you use the Darkness Trigger to deal the final blow to either the Butterfly Effects or the final boss
Well... since the video is already out... I don't really have much to say about it (Honestly because it contained what I was waiting to ask a while back before this came out). I know it was obvious and all that, but I didn't really think that Darkness Trigger could be overridden with Twin Shredder. I know, stupid, right?. Honestly thought that, You'd get a variation for that... well, if it ain't in the trailer (Which would have been a cool secret thing you could do in-game) then it doesn't exist. Kinda feels cool how Lola, corrupted by DT comes back with Awakened to do Twi-Shrdr. Obviously, Loved the gameplay, and this may be the exact challenge you were looking for (Though there is one more I'll be waiting for, and won't spoil until you finish the game), Double edged is DT's style... Like that Quote Copen has in ASG2 with the EX Weapons
*finds this ultimately underwhelming* if it skyrocketed the score then maybe I might be willing to try this, after all you never get the no damage bonus
Seems as though Lola's CONSTANTLY using EX attacks. If you don't have any tags, you're losing health because Lola's only possible target is YOU, and she HAS to burn away the power constantly, so she attacks you with Stellar Spark!
@@regissofi7138 Similarly, Blade spamming every attack she has is also her having to burn the new power she has. She isn't capable of tagging though, so they just lash out as much as they can.

When you reach 3rd and 4th final stage recommeded use Darkness Trigger so you can sync emotion with Acura and RoRo while playing 2 last stage

I never really triggered this transformation. Hell, I didn't even realize it was there until I reached the last stages.

You can kinda cheese it by constantly air dashing and bouncing off of walls. The window of time is pretty tight though, as seen in this video.

Anyway what give you this Roro darkness trigger? Because I don't see any diffrence...
Infinite ex weapon usage, and increases your damage alot, but if you don't kill enemies/hit the bosses constantly, you lose HP (you don't die tho)
Aaaaand the ex weaps have less casting time, you can literally spam those and kick those Sumeragi asses
