Man this is awkward. This song is for me like the best of the album, Even if I'm way more Into deathcore than instrumental tracks. This one is pure magic, guitars, drums, and Yeah fucking bass are all so well together. I wish this song wasn't just considered as a simple interlude. THIS SONG IS FUCKING GOLD
@@hollowplanet1138 A couple notes to make. First note, While I still think Citadel is a great song, I would say my taste has expanded and evolved quite well over the past three years since I left this comment. Second note, I know Shadow of Intent very well, and I love them to death, quite possibly my favorite band, or at least top 3. I do also like them more than Angelmaker. Last note, if I were to speak for my past self, even in that comment, I said, one of the best, not THE best.
This song could use a little more recognition. I would recomend this song to any metal fan, but of course they won't do their research, because this is from a deathcore band, and "ALL of deathcore is rubbish!" And they claim to be open-minded. 🤔 I can already tell you that I can hear Beethoven influences from this song. It's almost as if Beethoven came back from the dead and helped AngelMaker write an epic tune. Love this song.
I bet they would like it if you didnt tell them what it was goes to show how people wont even try out music cuz of bandwagons n shit lol but there will always be the sheep who follow the heard they dont deserve to appreciate this quality music
3 years later sorry but, can you recommend me metal like this? or songs that have this level of 'heart' put into them, nevermind the genre. im in a musical search of sorts and looking everywhere
interesting and very well composed people should take notice of the degree of passion placed into this and the many styles of genres they mixed in to this to create this masterpiece
I haven't found a single song that is dissapoiting from you guys. I love y'all. I hope you continune on producing great music. Looking forward to the next album!
First time I heard this track it literally brought tears to my eyes. This is one of a handful of pieces that have ever actually moved me that powerfully
This song makes me so emotional in a way that no other song could ever do. Thank you so much for this. Best instrumental ever created, on earth, period. At least I will always think so. A true masterpiece.
This should have been the song being played when You storm to the Citadel in Halo 3 mission "The Covenant". This fits perfectly with the events that goes on.
Angelmaker is fucking awesome! never listened/or heard before , untill i saw them play & they blew me away. This band changed how i feel about genres .. thanks fellas
Come on man this off the edge. This music is really amazing and outstanding and i don't have other words to explain this beautiful music. The beginning riff is so good and just love it.
Dave Lazer no wonder this song makes me so emotional in the best way...haha I know what you’re talking about but I can’t recall the song from them that it reminds us of.
+Matt Perrin Yo that'd be sick and hey Hows the band going?? I havent heard any news from the page ever since the full length dropped. oh yea and you should tell everyone That I personally want to thank them for keeping fucking death metal alive! seriously im gonna be strokin it to each and every single one of you later on tonight ya'll have seriously made an impact on death metal itself if you ask me
Friend of mine played this and I told him how the guitar riff was the same as L's theme from Death Note. Played it and he said that it was different cause of the pitch. Great song tho
I hope you don't take this wrong. But this song reminds me of some Darkest Hour instrumental. And I mean that in a good way. I fucking love Darkest Hour, and they are amazing. What i'm saying. The degree of craftsmanship in this song is amazing. It also has a feel of maybe Fleshgod Apocalypse mixed in. And they are just as amazing. You guys fucking rock!
Oliver Anodin Not sure how much Darkest Hour you've listened to. But try Pathos+Ethos, Terra Solaris Terra Noctunus, Part II and How the Beautiful Decay, and The Light at the Edge of the World. Some of them are fairly short, but, if you listen to those, I think you'd hear my comparison from this song to those.

This song is weird for me. I really don't like the screaming in this bands songs, but I can appreciate there structure and insruments. So this is an amazing song I love to listen too, because I get their instrumentals without the screaming I don't like.
@@trialshdultimategame theres just not many deathcore bands that don't scream. I would recommend hickory creek as a good song by the band whitechapel that doesn't scream, try it, tell me what you think
@@trialshdultimategame ik you didn't say that, but i just thought that with your comment you were implying that you were having trouble finding songs like this from deathcore bands, so i recommended hickory creek cause that song has a lighter singing.
You need more instrumentals. This is gold. Can't stop listening to it.
I don't think they realize what they've done here. It is clear that a lot of heart went into this track. Perfect.
