3D Printed Regenerative Compressor 1 Amp Smoke Test

Playing around with power sources for a new 3D printed compressor design with potential application for cooling via CPAP hose. This one is a regenerative compressor, sometimes called a side channel or ring compressor or blower. They're meant for high head rather than high flow, and what interests me is that they don't need high RPMs to do it. Turns out they do need a fair bit of power, though, which is probably why all the commercial ones have big honking motors on them 😆
This is into what I'd call the "usable" range with this 1-amp-ish motor driving it somewhere in the low 1k RPMs. It feels as strong or stronger than my current "daily driver" remote cooler. Hopefully, though, I'll be able to test some beefier candidates ...

Looks good! And your plan is to eventually use a version of this for part cooling?
