I just obtained this mineral today! I didn't get the location but mine has a cats eye effect. Im definitely thinking its from Ontario though based off this video. Thanks for sharing!
Could you not use a weak acid and some time to remove the calcite? Is the fluororichterite sensitive to acids? Lovely specimens by the way. 🤘
Absolutely, vinegar would work. But I like my specimens as they are. 😊
Curious to know how to clean this without damaging it. Any tips?
I use only water and brushes. 😊
