Oh No! I Made a Huge Mistake! Can I Save My Tomatoes?

- Hey, Family! 👋🏼 Sorry to say, but I made a huge mistake! I used a bad bag of soil to pot up these tomatoes and I may just have killed them all. Today I will be changing out the soil in an attempt to save them. Hopefully it will work.

❤yes I saw where Homestead heart had this problem too smh these soil companies have me scared I am gonna make sure to save even more of my chicken poop I used it this year for first time on my soil to prepare my beds for spring planting and it is doing wonderful ❤I am gonna start to make my own compost with it from now on! I got Kellogg dirt from home depot it worked and I swear by fox farm soil it works so good in my pots and greenstalk planter!!❤❤ your garden looks beautiful though ❤❤❤they'll bounce back since you're moving them!!
The crazy thing is, even when I was driving home with it I could smell manure and kept wondering why 😂 Sadly, we don’t have chickens. We don’t eat meat or poultry. You are blessed to have your own source of manure 💚

Thanks Tanya. Rocket J Squirrel paid you another visit. We get a little chipmunk wandering around. They're supposed to be solitary. I don't know why the squirrel population seems to be down here. Maybe bigger birds? I had a salad fresh from the garden today, arugula, kale, wood sorrel, basil, dill, oregano, and some mint, which I put in my lemon water and tea.
Maybe all of your squirrels moved out west. 😂 We seem to have a population boom out here. Your salad and tea sound delicious 😋 I literally just walked my friend through the garden, clipping cilantro, basil, rosemary, oregano, spearmint, and chocolate mint for her. She left with a huge smile on her face 💚

Once I bought a number of bags of Kellogg soils. Same problems but it wasn't ammonia. The plants all died. The top of the soil was dry and below it smelled awfully and was soaking wet. Never bought their products again for fear of having the same problem. Every influencer was recommending it at the time.
I’m so sorry. I used Kellogg for a long time. I recently switched to the MG Organic because the Kellogg was becoming mostly wood chips. I think it was attracting the Rollie Pollie bugs. I have seen a huge drop in their population since I switched. What are you using now?
The squirrels are the worst smh some planted black oil sunflowers 🌻 all in my garden beds from the chicken feed I make! 😂

Hello! 👋🏼 Welcome to the family! I use chicken manure and steer manure. Some say they deter squirrels. We must have super squirrels, because it doesn’t bother then at all 😂💚
