I couldn't enjoy the comedy in original because of the nativity I enjoy in Kannada language and definitely the charm of young shivanna here. To remake a cult movie and give par performance, one should have strong command and confidence. This is example to it. even though you don't appreciate this. Dude You can't underrate this.
Saw this original movie in Hindi 45 years back, later in Tamil. First time in Kannada I am seeing this clip. It appears that even in Kannada, the movie must be really hilarious. One of the iconic comedies of our time. Utpal Dutt in Hindi, Thengai Srinivasan in Tamil and Lokesh in Kannada all perfectly fit in the role. Not to forget Amol Palekar, Rajini Kant and our dear Shivrajkumar. A super entertaining movie, I am blessed to enjoy in all these languages. Jai Hind!

@@gopsda director, writer was Bengali but it was first made in Hindi only not Bengali. Though it is a remake but nobody copied the main actors. They have done superb.
