Usually those kids that don’t tackle well at the high school level, are those who didn’t get taught well or grasp proper tackling skills in little league

As a Lexington native and UK can......I have to say I felt pride in Louisville/KY watching this. Kids are awesome but those adults put so much time and energy into them. Congrats boys!
I learned how to play in the leagues in Louisville back in the60’s. GRACE HOPE, GENTLE GIANTS, MALE HIGH, JACKSON STATE, ALCORN, DALLAS & SEATTLE. However, I could play Basketball, Box, Track, Baseball. It was fun coming up in Louisville! CONGRATULATIONS CHARGERS!

L Ville produces some of the best athletes in the world. The high school system and overall education system in Louisville keeps many of them from ever being recognized at the collegiate level. That has always been an issue in Louisville Ky, I've personally known many who had the raw talent to play at the highest levels but the school system doesn't do a good job at keeping these young men focused on anything but sports, so low grades, and other issues cause these young men to miss opportunities at the next level. Been this way for decades!
Me and jahyde went to the same school and now we are at the Dubois academy

Lauderhill is a pretty rough area here in Fort Lauderdale so its good to see adults put in the time and effort to give these kids some joy in life

Here in lies my problem. You have these grown men that are couch coaches and they seem to think they know how to coach. It's obvious allot of these kids have raw talent and that's exactly what it is. I am looking at developed kids from a physical standpoint. But, that's only a portion of football. Play after play the OL are firing out but are having no real footwork on doing it correctly. At this age they shouldn't be doing any zone blocking however, they should know how to step in order to block a defensive player right or left and how to position their shoulders. I see some kids bulldozing over some others but that's not technique. And both Lines I am seeing players stand straight up. Those are easy fundamentals to teach kids of this age if you know a thing about football at all. A blind man can see these are some talented pee wee kids these teams put together in their area but there is little in terms of coaching being done to really bring out the best of these young people. Not to mention all of the high tackling I see as well. All of that yelling and no coaching. To me, all I see are some kids with some speed who are out running allot of guys. I see don't see any real discipline or fundamentals that they will need once they get to middle school. Before anyone asks, I played college ball and was an All American NAIA RB for two years. I have also coached pee wee. I didn't have kids with this speed and talent. The players I had would just out fundamental you to death. They we be in the right position and would get low and keep there head up and to make tackles. Did we win every game? I would be lying if I said yes. But, if they had these coaches, they wouldn't have ever one a game. The games they won was because they were talked good fundamentals, positioning, and how to step and fire out low. Most of that time at this age that's all you need to have allot of wins. You can push a big man back if you get low enough to do so. Just using that as an example.
2 things... Parent's need to stay away from the buffets... The music playing over the game play was awful.
