@JAYBOOK No why it’s a lot of money and no client will pay this and it’s tough finding a good service that only does dance floor rentals. And R u outta of ur mind who does this like that and who do u think u r charging a client 10x more money than your service this is a dumb and not a smart idea.
@djghost67 preciate your feedback but not everyone thinks this way. Different areas of the country have different needs so thank you for your opinion my guy
been looking at this for years!! was depending on venues and most hotels have them already so its outdoor marquee weddings only. and like others say the labour to setup and take down is crazy! its hard work lol
Exactly you know how I’ve been doing it over the years you started off by renting my stuff. I was making money off of you as I continue to do that with other DJs and rent out cold spark machines. I made $450 last night and I didn’t have to work.
Jay in the UK light up marquee letters are popular. I have a 5’ set and hire them out with my salsa booth and DJ package often. Yes they’re quite big and clumsy to move but made my money back on 3 hires. The floors are good but the guys who have them say they’re a pain to move, store, and clean. Good to have but definitely need help with the floors.
I agree, also put tips and 10% of the profit in a high yield savings account. Free extra money
I like I like
That dance floor is a huge trip hazard.
Can be but if done right for most events it can be a cash cow
@@DjJayBook I'm just looking at the inch+ step guests have to make to get onto the floor.
Putting those dance floors together is way more labor intensive than djing
It is so we may have to higher a crew
But ur a solo dj why r u thinking this idea this idea is dumb.
@@Ghost67146 hire a two man team to assemble and charge accordingly so that you still profit from it

You are right. There is a definite need for a dance floor. People wanna dance.
Amazon got them for up to $10,000. Checkers board to.
Just had a client ask me did I provide the dance floor to rent!! Definitely not crazy!!
Lmao! See!

Still it has me curious on what it would take
@@DjJayBook just need to work out the logistics of it etc
Hey Book I think you are the man that can pull it off. All of the jobs you have, if you purchase you are definitely about to come up
Preciate that!
Hmmm. Interesting 🤔
Hey this is a great idea.
Preciate you

Oh Nice
I looked into it a few years ago. All the big event / party rental places in my area have them for rent so I passed on it.
Sell it as a package or add on of service
Labor intensive not to mention storage.
I agree but both obtainable
You’ll also have to consider investing in a vehicle like a box truck to transport the equipment.
Hey Jay. Use to own a rental company. Reach out and I’ll tell you the pros and cons. Joe
Gotcha!
Dance floor would be a pass for me.
Well it’s not for everyone
Good idea. The lighted one is expensive
Way to!

Hey just saw this dj advertised on OfferUp. $800
Oh Wow
