LJP Tech thank you for your input. I'm a residential designer when measuring existing homes it takes considerable time measuring with a tape measure, hand sketching on site, then transferring the information to my Chief Architect software. This is why I'm in the market for the best laser measuring unit. Thank you for taking the time to review this product.
Thanks for the review! Was really hoping it would make scanning residential houses easier! Oh well, one day we might get something better for alterations.
Very interesting video. I also think it’s too time consuming. But it’s nice to know that this kind of device exists. Regarding what you are precisely looking for. Leica has such kind of devices but the price is around 15.000€ I think.
Good video. Great idea for an upgrade to spin it while transferring data. I'd use that. This device is too slow to justify its perks. No school like the old school.
I started a prototype to build and automatic 2d floor plan scanner but there are no accurate commercial lasers available, the most I can get was 10% of the distance. if anyone know an accurate laser that can be used with Arduino, please let me know.
Have you seen the new 3D model they’re kickstarting now? I measure houses for remodeling purposes and use a laser measuring tool as well. Was hoping this Meazor would do the trick too.
Hello! Thank you for the video. Can you share us the dwg files it creates to see the files And if we can work with it? Can we use the curve 360 in vertical position? Thaaank you
Thanks for the review! I really consider buying it for the quick curve scan which is underated here. I mean you can scan the whole room in a minute and even draw vertical section of the room. There's a french company that makes it automatic with some kind of rotating lidar scanner but they make you pay for the dwg which is absurde... The technology is easy but I guess it's not interesting for the big companies to simplify things considering that Leica smallest scanner costs more than 15000$. Thank you again for the test!
@@ljptech Oh, I am so sorry to hear this. No worries -- your video is extremely useful and informative. Doctor, here; actually dentist, but with sufficient medical and surgical knowledge to ask meaningful questions -- what exactly is the issue, if I may ask? And why is it only affecting the thumbs -- rather curious. But, cheers all the same.
@@ljptech I was having issues with obstacles and corners I can't measure. However, training makes things better and faster. I like the product, and I am looking to doing what you do. I want to offer this service to clients. Do you have a video with your story?

You can export dxf file which is openable on AutoCAD software. Hope this clarifies

Dude, what's with the taped thumbs? Nice video, btw.
I have lifetime drying thumb which looks unpleasant on close up view. Sorry about that 😞
