They're essentially cheating and robbing us of any kind of a truly free market. If they couldnt do that, they wouldnt be able to choke out the competition the way they do and be so untouchable. But to say capitalism "always" produces corporatism is disingenuous.

I have been a Synthwave lover since the late 2017’s when I accidentally and luckily I came across the genre on youtube, it has been my escapade and my dear confident in the silence of the night. However, I came across this gem a couple of years ago but only actually sat down and felt it, and it completely takes me to the aesthetics of a long forgotten dream, scattered around propaganda throughout gray skies and plain colored buildings dystopias.
When I grew up, they told me the Soviet Union was the enemy. It was to be hated and feared while at the same time deemed to be less sophisticated than us westerners, us being the "good guys" and them being the "evil reds". All this was a lie, of course! I wish the the Soviet Union would have survived and progressed to become a true alternative to today's rampant and cruel capitalism that is the cancer of this world, with peace, freedom and equality for all. Soviet Wave makes me dream of those times we surely will not see in our lifetime, so let's build that hope for our children, for that better future we were betrayed of by greedy politicians and corporations.

This is actually quite fascinating and contradicting, to me. Soviet Union was, at the time, the nightmare side of the 80s dreams. But it defintely takes part of the "Retro Wave" much more than other clichè. Anyway, brillant idea. You are bringing the genre through new undiscovered horizons.

This is actually quite fascinating and contradicting, to me. Soviet Union was, at the time, the nightmare side of the 80s dreams. But it defintely takes part of the "Retro Wave" much more than other clichè. Anyway, brillant idea. You are bringing the genre through new undiscovered horizons.
