I left my first job almost exactly 1 year ago. The unknown was indeed scary at first but I gradually got used to it, and it was also thanks to the strong support from my hubby. It took me a long time before I finally found a new passion/hobby that will probably keep me occupied for a while. I'm sure you'll do fine :)

i move from projects to projects. most of the time with offshore colleagues. i dont even have onshore colleagues to sit and eat with usually. and i get the feeling of 'resigning' everytime a project is done. happened so many times that im numb to it already. kinda sad actually.
Hey, thanks for sharing :) Sounds like a lonely scope with no fixed colleagues at work, but I also admire your ability to work independently. Moving from one project to another means that you're in a very high-impact position! Was kinda in a same situation as you (in a much smaller scale with not much impact haha) so I might understand. It's like being a floater for me.
If it helps at all, I sat down to think about what I really wanted in this life. Compared my current life to see if the two states matched- they didn't, so I left my job and made other changes. Perhaps it depends on whether this discomfort is enough for you to venture into another kind of discomfort, in terms of new job.
