I had already thought that "Dialtone" was a creepy song already, but something about it being in this sound font with the title "Game Over" gives me chills.
I don’t exactly know why but that song gives me warm feelings, it sounds like something you would hear at the end of a game’s good ending to me at least. I’m probably alone in this opinion but the soft and quiet feeling the song gives off feels warm to me.

To be honest, this is an incredible replacement. Imagine being mario. He's basically just a puppet, both for the people playing his games, forcing him to run and jump and crush turtys, but also for nintendo themselves. Mario has always been referred to as an "everyman", where you can just throw him into a plot and both him and the plot itself wouldn't change a bit. He's always the hero, the main character, he's in the spotlight, but what happens when that ends? When people don't want to play his game anymore? He'd be abandoned, left to rot at the bottom of a dumpster, trapped in a game nobody will ever play. It's kind of sad when you think about it, and perfect for a spamton replacement in like an AU or something.
Toby's songs can never sound terrible. Playing My Game is a great example. Also, its so crazy how close A real plumber and Game Over sound like to the original.

"BLJ Gone Wrong" is a surprisingly fitting title in the context of the game. In mario 64, backwards long jumps are used to bypass certain areas, you're doing something you're not supossed to, in order to break the limits of what you can normally do. You're escaping the bounds placed by the game itself. Well played OP.
The amount of references in "PLAYING MY GAME" it'd just amazing, the hidden lyrics being peach letter, using the Mario 64 piano in the dummy part, and using the Mario voice in parts of the song it's just so wonderful

THE MIXING IN THIS IS SO GOOD???? especially with the mario vocals, it is SPOT ON with the original spamton vocals it's insane. I could spout for ages how much I love the instrumentation, but the vocals are what really sell this for me. The peach vocals during the freedom section and the "it'sa me" lines replacing the "hey"s in the section afterward are so goddamn genius
"a real plumber" actually sounds so smooth, i cant believe you made the mario 64 soundfont match up so perfectly it almost sounds better than the original
You walk down an empty alleyway. As you try to pass a dumpster it suddenly a snaps open, a fat, mustached man with a cap emerging and crawling out of the trash. "HEY EVERY !! IT'S-A ME!!! Literally all of these are better than the Super Spamton 64 mod (no hate, I do like those too). Using voice files from SM64 is really what should have been done the whole time, it's always funny
eh I think the spamton 64 ones work so well because they integrate the original SM64 themes into the deltarune ones. it makes them sound so unique. these are obviously better if you just want a straight song conversion
You Can Set A Custom Playback Speed By Going Into The Video Settings, Going Into The Menu Where You Can Set The Playback Speed, And Clicking "Custom" In The Corner. You Will Then Be Able To Set It To 1.8x. Have Fun! :D

Somehow I think that the font was meant for a game like deltarune, because games like sm64 was such a lively game but also had such scary creepy pastas, so I think some lines make it feel very unsettling even though in the game they feel unsettling but also not at the same time, like, what the flip
This would be a great idea for a meta take on a secret boss. Like he was the main character before our character came along, and after years of no more adventures, people slowly start forgetting him. Now you come along and have all the thunder that he used to have, and mad with revenge, he makes a game just for you to play, where hopefully after he kills you, he gets all the former glory back. Jesus Christ, it's perfect. They're ALL perfect. There's not a single mistake in any of these arrangements. They're all perfect recreations. I synced the original songs with these covers. There was no desync. The tempo is spot on. There's not a single sour note. It's as if Toby Fox made these himself. How the fuck did you manage this?
Honestly, it sounds like they just took the midi file for the songs and replaced the deltarune soundfont with sm64's. I don't think that's what they did given how complicated this music actually is but it's insane nonetheless

"BLJ Gone Wrong" is a surprisingly fitting title in the context of the game. In mario 64, backwards long jumps are used to bypass certain areas, you're doing something you're not supossed to, in order to break the limits of what you can normally do. You're escaping the bounds placed by the game itself. Well played OP.
And if you aim the BLJ wrong, you end up in Wet Dry World (if I remember correctly), infamous for being unsettling.
Somehow, Dialtone/Game Over is even creepier than the original sound font version. Actually gives me chills.

The amount of references in "PLAYING MY GAME" it'd just amazing, the hidden lyrics being peach letter, using the Mario 64 piano in the dummy part, and using the Mario voice in parts of the song it's just so wonderful
The names for “THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TO” into “BLJ Gone Wrong” into “PLAYING MY GAME” absolutely killed me. The vocals were stellar as well. Great work
THE MIXING IN THIS IS SO GOOD???? especially with the mario vocals, it is SPOT ON with the original spamton vocals it's insane. I could spout for ages how much I love the instrumentation, but the vocals are what really sell this for me. The peach vocals during the freedom section and the "it'sa me" lines replacing the "hey"s in the section afterward are so goddamn genius

Literally all of these are better than the Super Spamton 64 mod (no hate, I do like those too). Using voice files from SM64 is really what should have been done the whole time, it's always funny

eh I think the spamton 64 ones work so well because they integrate the original SM64 themes into the deltarune ones. it makes them sound so unique. these are obviously better if you just want a straight song conversion

Somehow I think that the font was meant for a game like deltarune, because games like sm64 was such a lively game but also had such scary creepy pastas, so I think some lines make it feel very unsettling even though in the game they feel unsettling but also not at the same time, like, what the flip
This would be a great idea for a meta take on a secret boss. Like he was the main character before our character came along, and after years of no more adventures, people slowly start forgetting him. Now you come along and have all the thunder that he used to have, and mad with revenge, he makes a game just for you to play, where hopefully after he kills you, he gets all the former glory back.

This is really good, you see a lot of lazy soundfont swaps over a midi out there, but this is really well crafted and has some really nice touches like the voices and the phone replacement in game over, really well done.
