this palette is actually really pretty and unique. I think it is lacking a true honey yellow matte though
Yeah, I'd like to have seen more yellows, and I think it could have gone a bit deeper too maybe?
You are so right about the neutral tones!! I think it is a nostalgic feel for me, every time I see a classic palette.
This palette would've been such a perfect time for Urban Decay to do something environmental with their marketing like donating proceeds to saving the bees or something :/ Kind of disappointed.

If you want to support a company that helps bees, buy from Neal’s Yard Remedies. Their organic skincare works wonders and they have a campaign that has donated to help save the bees. Ok, i have been using the palette for the last 3 days and I LOVE IT. It's beginners friendly also. You can do no wrong with it. The shimmers are more beautiful irl.

It is beautiful indeed. But I'm not getting it. I've stopped buying seasonal makeup. These makeup companies now make everything limited edition or tweak 1-2 ingredients in an old foundation to hook us in to buy,buy, buy. I'm done. After 2 years of makeup purchasing I can seriously pass and not miss a thing.
I'm saving for a trip instead from now on...literally 1 pallet is the price of a plane ticket, or the price for one night at a 3 star ⭐️ inn....or it can feed 5 homeless 1 meal. Ok thx for hearing me vent. Hope y'all have a great weekend! ✌🏼

And another trick....sometimes if a product sits in your cart long enough, they will send an email with a 10-15% discount. Usually not on items that have just released, but I will do that sometimes.
Shriya Shah I haven’t bought anything directly on the Urban Decay store, so I don’t know if they do it. I was speaking in general. Anytime I want something and I don’t have a code, I put it in the cart and leave it for a few days. Sometimes I get an email with a discount and sometimes I don’t. It rarely works when you have something that just released.

I am reviewing it I have it and hated hated hated it. LESS IS MORE. Like an hourglass vanish situation type. I put way too much on the 1dt week of trying it. I put barely anything on and it is so gorgeous. Luckily I havent posted the video yet because i have a very good review and feel for it now!!

Really? Olive skin or olive undertone? I want to test it out before buying it. Colours look great swatched but I don’t want to look bizarre with my undertone.

Thank You for filming this palette. When I saw it was coming out I was excited , because it reminds me of the original Naked palette. I love neutrals and this is really pretty for that.
i also prefer something kind of neutral, especially since i'm not a makeup artist or beauty guru or whatever. they fit my regular life more than super crazy shades, even though i do like a bright color once in a while. i gravitate towards warmer tones, and i do think some yellows and oranges can be fun and colorful even if they are maybe a little more neutral than blue or green or something.

With that eyelook I would definitely put a brown lipstick. I don't know why, but lately I just wanna wear brown lipsticks again. Perfect for fall. This palette and the new CP × Kathleen Lights are the most exciting I've seen so far.

Why would they make a naked palette with purple. Naked line means kinda natural. Purple isn’t natural.

I got excited when I saw this palette too! It just looks beautiful and wearable without being boring.
I have to pause the video and say that I totally agree with you, a good everyday neutral pallet excites me more than the colorful eye catching rainbow pallet, which I do feel that’s what Urban Decay has been doing and I truly appreciate it.
I don’t want to spend a whole lot of time thinking and creating looks, when 80% of the time I only get 15-20mins to throw on a quick look.

I absolutely love that you do a lot of neutral eye looks! The colorful looks are sometimes fun to watch, but I was videos on TH-cam to learn how to do my own makeup and improve. That’s why I love your channel. The products you show on your channel are actually something I would want to buy. The new launches of bright green colorful eyeshadows are gorgeous, but it’s not something I would ever wear on my day to day life (For me personally).

Since you’re a fan of ABH palletes, I would love to know your thoughts on the Jackie Aina one and where it ranks among the other ABH palletes.
Kinda getting in to neutrals but the more vibrant ones I think I'm going pick this up theres nothing out really like it and I think the honey color pallet is nothing like it
I’ve got three ABH palettes and my favorites to least favorite are Jackie Aina, Sultry and modern renaissance. The Aina and sultry palettes are sooo good!

I really appreciate your ‘basic’-ness. Some of us are not all about the glitz-n-glamour looks. Some of us love the subtle looks and products. That’s why I really enjoy Korean & Japanese makeup ( you really have to work at the colour products to truly mess things up).

I just ordered this pallet. I am in love with my Urban Decay naked pallets. I own the original naked, smokey naked, and naked reloaded. Being a blonde golds and browns look amazing on me. I also love playing with bright colors but noticed since I am getting older I am preferring more neutrals. I cannot wait to get this pallet in a few days.
I did a VERY similar look today with the uh-huh honey palette and I LOVED the mirror today 😍. Yellow definitely is my favorite way to transition into fall!

I have uh hu.honey and naked honey. They are very different. Ih hu honey is very yellow. Naked palette is very gold amber and brown ish .with a pop of olive.

I was excited for this palette when I first saw it, but seeing it perform I feel I could achieve a similar look with the Too Faced Chocolate Gold. 🤔
