This doll is elegant and sporty and screams 80s and if you can’t see that, you need to re-evaluate your critiquing skills instead of wanting a fanservice doll. But next time, don't force yourself to make a doll to please people that may not have agreed with your previous version. They have to understand that it is your doll not their own. True. Making her an actual boy erases the interest of her being a tomboy in a way. All of the main characters are supposed to represent a side of a girl's personnality. Twilight represent all of the bookworms out there, rarity for the make up and fashion addicts, applejack for the hard workers and country girls, and rainbow dash represent all the tomboys. There is nothing wrong with gender swapping characters at all, and Hextian's boy rainbow dash looks gorgeous. But I do think it was a good thing to do a girl doll too, so that the crew is complete and the tomboys are represented. And two dolls is better than one.
This is not fair. You are artist and you are totally free to costum dolls however you want. I'm sure you knew that oryginal Rainbow is a girl but you have your own conception and that makes you cool artist. In my opinion the male version looks cooler 🌸

Magdalena Bartkowska the first rainbow dash custom went out some times ago, so at this point he is doing it because he want to please his fans. I think he made it because he wanted to please people and not because he felt forced to ^^ it's just so nice of him to do that, we shouldn't argue in the comments on wether he should have done it or not, it's now done and it's a beautiful doll that is worth the time he took to make it

While I was watching the video, I felt like Hextian was forcing himself to do this doll. I didn't get the good vibes he always puts in his videos, it was like he was making it for obligation. You guys were really harsh on him, telling him all that mean stuff about Rainbow Dash being a girl. Plus, Hextian had explained why he made Rainbow Dash a boy in a previous video, saying he wanted to make a doll to represent LGBTQ+, and for that he wanted Rainbow Dash to be transgender. Whether the artist makes their work canon or not, it is the ARTISTS WORK. Not yours! All the people complaining are so childish. HeX both these dolls are gorgeous. But don't feel obligated to make other dolls if some people aren't happy with your original. You're the artist and we want to see what you come up with because we love your work. There's nothing wrong with going outside of the box.

I absolutely loved your previous male/trans rainbow dash as it showed so much of your own flare and artistic interpretation of a beloved character. Having said that, I also adore the new female rainbow dash too! I think the only slight criticism I’d have is probably to have kept the midriff as it’s a bit sportier looking BUT I know you were worried about matching skin tone and the belt still looks awesome. You are so so talented! I hope no one is rude to you again. Honestly you spend so much time and effort making these dolls we should be grateful! And they are your unique style! Can’t wait to see what you do next. Although may I suggest for the other princesses? Luna would look so beautiful in your style :P
I don't know how I feel about this?? not bc it's bad, in fact it's a very beautiful doll!! I love what u did to make her stand out from her male ver and also the others. Her height, the small details on the clothes and hair!! idk it's just interesting to see what u did instead of just going with the same exact design. I guess what I'm a bit torn about is that it feels like you felt forced to do it?? I rly hope that isn't the case and that u wanted to make a female version urself but the intro tells me otherwise ;;;
I actually really enjoyed making her and after coming up with the design, I wanted her to have sharper lines to be kind of an opposite to the first RBD I made, hence why I gave her pointy shoulders and the height. I wanted the male RBD to be a softer take on RBD and this one to be the mature, more aggressive look of hers. I honestly ended up having a love-hate relationship with the male RBD because of the critiques and backlash to the point where I didn't even want to look at the doll, so I was looking forward to making this to complete an all female mane 6. Now, I get comments from the people who wanted a female RBD saying they prefer the male one soooo lol idk. Can't win them all haha, but I hope you liked it :D
HeXtian I'm so sad to know critics made you hate your doll... beauty is subjective and of course everybody won't love it the same way, but you made such incredible dolls that you have the right to make some dolls that won't please your audience as much as the other ones! All your dolls are amazing to someone Hextian ^^ try to remember too that some people watching your videos are very young, like 12, 13, 14 years and you know you can't expect every one of them to speak rationally. I love the boy doll before this one soooo. You did wonderful on both. Also screw those people that made you lovehate/ your doll. I've had that with pictures before and it made it look like trash in my eyes. Then I stopped caring what people thought and did it for me.
This showcases beautifully what can be done when a great artist, instead of dismissing any critique as just dumb and jealous haters, decides to listen and use it as inspiration for something good. The fact that Hextian managed to do an equally great female doll and introduce her in an awesome way in the ending skit was just amazing!

Both dolls were incredible, dude! Personally, I’d love to see you do more gender swapped dolls! I LOVE seeing how you translate the original design aspects into the swapped one. It makes it feel like you’re also having the audience analyze the character personality wise and not just design wise. As someone who creates her own characters, it’s such a cool process to watch and makes me rethink my own creation process!

First, I want to say that yarn re-rooting technique is really cool, I haven't seen anyone else do it that way. Also it's a really good idea to use hair extensions.... I wonder if cutting the sewn part off would let you use the extensions for re-rooting as well? Cheap and easy way to get doll hair if it works. Second, though, peoples' reaction to Rainbow Blitz really rubs me the wrong way. First of all, you're allowed to have headcanons, there's nothing wrong with you HC-ing RB as trans. And second, the whole "u know she's a girl, right?" really just... Like, as a trans guy myself, I've had more than my fair share of "um, you know you're supposed to be a girl, right???" and it just.... yuck. Let us have our fun. Let us HC characters as trans. We already know what the canon is we don't need to be reminded.

I think it's a great add that he (most likely by accident) made Tank a turtle because in the episode where Rainbow chooses her pet, she accidentally called him a turtle at first and Fluttershy corrected her. And then in the end, Fluttershy called Tank a turtle. I don't know, I just think it's funny how Tank is a turtle here and the stuff in the episode.
I think both dolls are beautifully done. The male doll fit Rainbow Dash’s personality better, but the female one is just as eye catching. Wonderful job on both of them 😘💓

I love the way FemaleDash looks. The 80s style ties her well with the original series and the aerobic craze. Her wings looks light and lovely and her silhouette dramatic. I don't understand why you got so much flack on MaleDash, he's an absolutely beautiful doll and they asked for your *_INTERPRETATION_* of Rainbow Dash. If I were to make a Rainbow Dash, doll I would make her female because of how I looked up to tomboy characters for being feminine without being "girly". This new version is wonderful (as always, of course) but male Dash is still my favorite, creativity>"accuracy", and the male doll's creative process is just as beautiful as the execution, I'll always love that unique interpretation of the character. Keep the excellent job going and don't let anyone's mean comments get to you and this wonderful art form!!

True. Making her an actual boy erases the interest of her being a tomboy in a way. All of the main characters are supposed to represent a side of a girl's personnality. Twilight represent all of the bookworms out there, rarity for the make up and fashion addicts, applejack for the hard workers and country girls, and rainbow dash represent all the tomboys. There is nothing wrong with gender swapping characters at all, and Hextian's boy rainbow dash looks gorgeous. But I do think it was a good thing to do a girl doll too, so that the crew is complete and the tomboys are represented. And two dolls is better than one.

I didn't get the good vibes he always puts in his videos, it was like he was making it for obligation.
You guys were really harsh on him, telling him all that mean stuff about Rainbow Dash being a girl.

I absolutely loved your previous male/trans rainbow dash as it showed so much of your own flare and artistic interpretation of a beloved character. Having said that, I also adore the new female rainbow dash too! I think the only slight criticism I’d have is probably to have kept the midriff as it’s a bit sportier looking BUT I know you were worried about matching skin tone and the belt still looks awesome. You are so so talented! I hope no one is rude to you again. Honestly you spend so much time and effort making these dolls we should be grateful! And they are your unique style! Can’t wait to see what you do next. Although may I suggest for the other princesses? Luna would look so beautiful in your style :P

I actually really enjoyed making her and after coming up with the design, I wanted her to have sharper lines to be kind of an opposite to the first RBD I made, hence why I gave her pointy shoulders and the height. I wanted the male RBD to be a softer take on RBD and this one to be the mature, more aggressive look of hers. I honestly ended up having a love-hate relationship with the male RBD because of the critiques and backlash to the point where I didn't even want to look at the doll, so I was looking forward to making this to complete an all female mane 6. Now, I get comments from the people who wanted a female RBD saying they prefer the male one soooo lol idk. Can't win them all haha, but I hope you liked it :D

This showcases beautifully what can be done when a great artist, instead of dismissing any critique as just dumb and jealous haters, decides to listen and use it as inspiration for something good. First, I want to say that yarn re-rooting technique is really cool, I haven't seen anyone else do it that way. Also it's a really good idea to use hair extensions.... I wonder if cutting the sewn part off would let you use the extensions for re-rooting as well? Cheap and easy way to get doll hair if it works.
Second, though, peoples' reaction to Rainbow Blitz really rubs me the wrong way. First of all, you're allowed to have headcanons, there's nothing wrong with you HC-ing RB as trans. And second, the whole "u know she's a girl, right?" really just... Like, as a trans guy myself, I've had more than my fair share of "um, you know you're supposed to be a girl, right???" and it just.... yuck. Let us have our fun. Let us HC characters as trans. I think it's a great add that he (most likely by accident) made Tank a turtle because in the episode where Rainbow chooses her pet, she accidentally called him a turtle at first and Fluttershy corrected her. I think both dolls are beautifully done. The male doll fit Rainbow Dash’s personality better, but the female one is just as eye catching. Wonderful job on both of them 😘💓

Oddly enough the boy rainbow dash was the 2nd best boy doll you’ve made( the Scar doll was so dope I used it for a Halloween costume) all your dolls are so well done I can’t imagine anyone having an issue with any of them!!!

I love the way FemaleDash looks. The 80s style ties her well with the original series and the aerobic craze. Her wings looks light and lovely and her silhouette dramatic.
I don't understand why you got so much flack on MaleDash, he's an absolutely beautiful doll and they asked for your *_INTERPRETATION_* of Rainbow Dash. If I were to make a Rainbow Dash, doll I would make her female because of how I looked up to tomboy characters for being feminine without being "girly".
