Fantastic Convertibles At The Surf 1995 #1

It appears to me that there is a severe lack of video or anything else from the Fantastic Convertibles, an oldies cover band out of Minneapolis/St. Paul. I won't try to give any band history, etc but I'll tell you they were my favorite oldies band in the Twin Cities. Sure, you have the White Sidewalls (who are very active today) and the Rocking' Hollywoods, all fine oldies bands, but the Convertibles always seemed to have a bit more of an edge to them and I enjoyed them more than the others. So I have two mediocre videos of the Fantastic Convertibles I shot at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake Iowa during their Buddy Holly Tribute in 1995. This one is cleverly called #1 and the other is #2 if you want to find it on here. Excuse the quality. I'm a bad videographer, the tape is nearly 30 years old and I dubbed it with an old VCR using an EyeTv unit into a 20 year old iMac with ancient software and saved it as VGA video, LOL. Back when I shot this video recorders took full size VHS tapes and you rested them on your shoulder and looked through the viewfinder! But it's still fun. Enjoy.
