  • In recent years Albert Watson has focused his attention on Fine Art and Landscape Photography. In this video we travel with Albert to the Isle of Skye for his most recent landscape project.
Albert Watson is one of the world's most successful and sought-after photo artists working today. Over the past four decades his striking portraits have appeared on more than 100 covers of Vogue and been featured in countless other publications, from Rolling Stone to Time to Interview and Vibe.
Albert Watson "I went to Skye in November and was looking for real weather - dark skies, wind, rain, mist. All the things that affect the landscape. I've been all over the world with this job, Russia, China, South America, Australia. But Skye is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Unique."

Wilderness photography....the chance to be yourself, find yourself..in such beauty...... ( Think Mr Watson missed that opportunity when you need 10 people to change your lens ! ) always thought changing lenses was quite easy.. mmmmm

I noticed myself same, but I think it is due to his age. The camera system he is using is pretty heavy, add to this windy conditions.... All that after a good few miles walking through the hills... At some point he is sitting behind the camera, probably tired nothing else. I'm not surprised he has assistants ( although one only would do in my opinion :)

@@marekmkm744 You're the only one here with some common sense. Albert is like 72yo in this video.

Because the photos weren't ready when the video was shot, of course.

You need to post the images. What's the point of the video if you're not going to show the images from such an expensive camera.

Always looked up to Albert Watson, but trying to be a landscape photographer with a fashion photographers entourage is very indulgent, probably can't show the photos as they are sub par to what has been done in those locations previously, phase one is a phenomenal piece of kit but for this job should have been put into the hands of a serious landscape photographer.

Have you ever seen his landscape photography? You sound very dumb right now, I can tell you that at least. You're on the internet, mate....use it.

You can never have too much photo gear, on the flipside of that you can do a great deal with a small amount of gear.
