- Hey guys, I'm back with another video!! So, in today's video we're watching a highly requested movie from you guys, that is "Fear Street: part one". I've been so intrigued about this trilogy since you guys informed me that Sadie Sink is involved, little did I know so is Maya Hawke!! This was a crazy and extremely camp journey, and I really can't wait to watch the others. Enjoy!! xoxox

I had the biggest giggle fit when Brad said that it'd be awkward to be wearing the Scoops Ahoy outfit if Sadie wasn't in the first movie because it's so much more perfect that Maya was in this one 😂 I had so much fun watchin' you have fun watchin' this!!! 🥰 Any chances of a character tier list once you've done all 3 movies?

alsooo fun fact: the director of these movies is the wife of Ross Duffer! (aka one of the duffer brothers who created stranger things!!) they definitely took inspo from each other in these movies and used some of the same actors and actresses (as you can tell lol)
I love this trilogy sm! Also when Deena said that stuff about Sam moving and it turned out to be only a half hour away, I was like girl I have to go that far for the grocery store that’s nothing😭

It makes more sense in the context of the series. It’s not about the distance; it’s about changing teams (and becoming a class traitor).

EDIT: I just made it to the end of the video and you absolutely *MUST* watch parts 2 & 3!! They’re even better than this one and, like I already stated above, you are undoubtedly gonna *LOVE* both of them!!
Also, the movies were each released onto Netflix one week apart in July 2021. Part One/1994 was released on the 2nd, Part Two/1978 was released on the 9th, and Part Three/1666 was released on the 16th. So, yeah, all three films were completely finished by the time the first was released.

Oh god I love these movies SO MUCH please continue the series! 1978 is the best out of the 3 imo, not only for Sadie, the whole concept is amazing. These movies came out last summer and satiated my need for old-school style content (I was really missing Stranger Things).
Idk how unpopular of an opinion this is, but Deena is such an unlikable character 😭😭 I can’t really blame Kate for wanting to give Sam up to the killers, especially if they were not friends. Kate was the MVP this movie, went out like a Queen.
It's officially Fear Street season!!! I'm so glad you're reacting to it omg this was so much fun to watch. Looking forward to the next one because it's my favorite from the three 🥰

It’s absolutely not unreasonable for Sam to not be ready to come out yet. However, I’d also argue that if Deena *is* ready to be out, it makes sense she might not want to be with someone who isn’t. So I don’t necessarily fault her for ending things since they’re not on the same page when it comes to that, but I do definitely think that Deena’s “I’m gonna blame Sam and act like she screwed me over” attitude is totally unfair and unreasonable. Seems like it was more of a “we want different things and that’s nobody’s fault” kinda thing if that makes sense.
Sam chose to live with her mom who is homophobic though. She had a choice to stay with her dad and be with Deena but instead moved with her mom. She 100% deserves Deenas hate because she basically broke up with Deena without saying the words.
@@NextgenTraveler91 So Sam has to submit her life choices for Deena's approval, or otherwise she deserves her hate? Wow!
Imagine for a second that Deena was a boy... Would you find it reasonable of this imaginary boyfriend to hate Sam because she chose to live with a parent who doesn't approve of their relationship? Would you say it is all Sam's fault and that she deserves his hate? Or would you call his behavior controlling and toxic?
I could understand Deena breaking up with Sam because they are at different stages in their self-realization process or because they want different things, but that's not what she does here. She's basically forcing her own views and life choices on this person that she claims to love so much. If someone expressed their "love" for me in the way that Deena does here for Sam, I would run as fast as I could in the opposite direction.
@@NextgenTraveler91 we don’t know anything about her dad, what if he’s worse? and knowing how awful shadyside is, can we blame her for wanting a better life? that means she deserves to be hated by her girlfriend who could’ve just sucked it up and travelled half an hour to see her?
@@NextgenTraveler91why are you assuming that one, Sam’s dad fought for custody or two, that he would’ve won. Who Sam lives with isn’t up to her

I actually like that Deena is the protagonist but still insufferable. She’s flawed and annoying but you still root for her and Sam to survive.
Also I don’t think Josh is supposed to be that young. Probably like a year younger than Deena and her friends.
So excited for part 2. It’s the best movie in the franchise by far.
