And when the hotel manager found out how sick I was, he drove me to the hospital on the back of his motorbike, without hesitation. He guided me around the hospital, explained how everything worked... and even drove back later that day to pick up my test results. Just one of many very friendly Indians I met on this trip. So even though the visit ended in an unfortunate way, I won't forget the great hospitality I found on my travels through North India!

You should have visited Cold Hill Stations in India down South or Snow Capped Himalayan Mountain Destinations in our North and North Eastern States of India. Winters are ideal time to travel around places in Rajasthan.

Very sorry to hear about your sickness but glad you are doing better. I think it's A good time to really sit down and see what you want to do and what is realistic. You've b even struggling with this for sometime and that is okay. We all have times of reevaluating and course correction. Just remember no job is perfect and before you decide to try a new direction, remember it won't be perfect either. Work requires COMMITMENT and EFFORT, thus the rewards you receive. Before you toss it away just remember, this TH-cam has given you the opportunity to travel and see a lot! Most other jobs may give you a few weeks off a year with no guarantee you can afford to travel. If you believe people are simply going to want and watch you share video clips community members have sent you; give it a try!
Unfortunately you choose the travelling time in summer that too in RAJASTHAN and coming from Canada so you are going to fall sick it's not u anyone can't tolerate the temperature difference so pls do check next time the suitable weather to travel .Good luck next time

Oh man, so sorry you got swine flu. That sounds really nasty. Shivering in 36 degrees? Fevers really do suck. Definitely a good idea to go home when you're so unwell. Hey, you can always go back to India! Rest and relaxation always help overcome sickness so it wouldn't have been a good idea to keep travelling. Health is the most important thing.
Your India itinerary was literally the most gruesome even for an indian traveller.... Go further north into the Himalayas or down south along the coast next time ✌️
Basically most of the tourist planned a lot of things when they will arrive in India but when they arrived its totally difficult because of the traffic and other things make people tired and annoying and that's why a lot of tourists leave early

Maybe that is different in northern India? I remember i got a bit sick for couple of hours, not sure why. But my friends mother, whom is Indian and i was visiting took great care of me and made me some amazing real Ayurvedic tea 🍵 in her Bangalore home 🥰 Indians are some of the most heartfelt and sweetest people i know and wow do they know ALOT about Herbs ! I miss it sooo much 😭😢

Sorry for the troubles that you faced in India... If you have time then you can visit India in winter season ( from November to mid February) , then there would not be heat issue in northern part . I am so sorry you got sick Dan! Please don't let that deter you from going back. I was 19 years old when I first went to India on my own. I got really sick with Malaria in Bombay. Just like you, I was alone in a hotel room with no AC. I couldn't afford to change my ticket to go back home. I did get better and eventually, at the end of the 6months, I went back home and immediately booked my ticket to return! You have to go back Dan, you have unfinished business in India. About your vlogs: I like your style of vlogging. I just think you get discouraged really quickly about it. Not sure why. I love following your day to day life. It's ok if you choose not to be an open book, we respect your privacy but did you ever think of how you got this community going? People come here to your videos for you my friend. Its hard to adjust to India's weather. You have to take care of yourself well. Hope you take better care of yourself in your next visit.(eg. Avoid junk foods at all cost. Drink only bottled mineral waters. Etc etc. Wish you well.

Similar experience with me. Towards the end of my 2 weeks in Querétaro I got cold/flu symptoms and laryngitis. Got home and had a whole week of weakness, coughing misery. Worst I've every been. Went to doctor, which I've never done! Lots of medicines after that.

You was at right time but at Wrong Place.It's summer in India and temp in or near rajasthan reach upto 45 degree C, Instead of Rajsthan U should go to snow-capped Himalayas , ladakh, himachal, utrakhand or North East of india. Or u can go to southmost state Kerala for beautiful beaches and natural scenics.

There is an advice for tourists , who wants to visit India... In summer time you can visit north -east part like shimla, himachal pradesh, JK etc. These are cold places and I am sure , you will enjoy that a lot... One more thing that Rajasthan is the hottest place in india which is located in northern part of India. So, don't visit this place in summer season...

India has best of the hospitals and doctors.a lot of peoole from the west come here to get surgeries. You just have to get a good travel insurance.

Next time if u plan for India trip, plan it between October to February when heat is less and travelling is better.

May, June, July, and August is definitely not the right time to travel to India. You should travel to India between October to March.

India is one of those countries I will never visit. I’m sure it’s gorgeous there, but holy shit, the sanitary conditions are absolutely abysmal. As a person in the healthcare field, I just can’t fathom putting myself in a place like that. I’m sure the cultural experience is amazing, but I mean...I don’t really want to travel to places where people dump shit in the streets
