Another great vid anyway bro. A good breathing technique I use when free diving bro is to float on the top face down looking at the spot you want to get to(helps if you can see it of course). Slow your breathing right down and relax your whole body (you'll look like a drowning victim from the surface). When your breathing has slowed right down take a big slow breath in and dive. I rekon the key is slow moving when your down there. Don't be in a rush and you'll use the oxygen in your system slower.

cheers mate, good advice. Im used to rushing as I never used to dive with a belt or fins when I was a kid

Hey mate, awesome vids you're doing! I noticed your mask was a little fogged, I noticed someone said about the toothpaste.. yer def do that, paste it on and leave for ten min then wash it off. Then each time you go out diving spit in the mask when its dry and rub it in with dry fingers then quickly dip it in the sea water.. no more fog and no need to worry about buying anti fog stuff either

heya boyo, you must use some sort of inflatable bouyancy compensator with a weightbelt, or ya gunna consume a lot of energy, and that snorkel is actually a safety item kk? thx ;) Set weightbelt for neutral bouyancy with your compensator empty of air. Numero uno trick with snorkling is energy conservation and relaxation, so drop arms and legs on the surface and chillaxe out totally between dives. Neutral bouyancy is water level with eyes when vertical. Learn to flip and descend effortlessly and consume zero energy. Take mind out of go-go-go mode and swap to zen and search mode - calm that mind.. now you can stay under for 35 sec to a minute without too much drama. Love to all..

If you haven't seen it already watch: Freediving Breathe Up - How to hold your breath longer I tried it and it doubled my time under water. Maybe it will help you too. Thanks for posting your video! Its great! Honest and entertaining!

yeah bro only way to go... get out there and do it.
Tip: with your weight belt try and find the right weight that suits you and your new suit. You want to find neutral buoyancy so your not fighting to stay afloat or fighting to get to the bottom, less effort is best.
Might want to give the Hawaiian Sling a crack, no fuss no muck around and your probably a lot less likely to shoot your mate while you figure out all the new toys.
    Chur chur.

you might want to rub toothpaste over your lens as it will be covered in silicone particles from manufacture. Should do it to all new masks after a few dives you will just need to do the spit trick.

use body wash to lube your suit; much better on the skin. I know you're sensitive!

I would have thought knowledge of your equipment went without saying. Come on James get your shit together mate. Don't blame the equipment for failing if you don't know how to use it. I have never had a problem with my snorkel.

@@joshjameskiwibushman definitely not a know all. I just think some people can be a little to cavalier sometimes in regards to personal safety. Take care man, don't get too comfortable out there.
