With respect to protecting the headlamps, pick up some of that headlamp saver tape. Apply it over the lens, and that should keep them intact. I would also consider going to the Daniel Stern Lighting page and upgrading the wiring to use relays. That'll make them brighter, since they won't be receivng power directly through the headlamp switch.

your rear control arm spring perches are damaged and missing the center post to locate the spring which would have made getting the spring out a bit harder. pulling the inner CV joint gains more movement of the rear arm to allow removal of the spring after it is all correct.

I live in NH. There is a small group of us that hit class IV and VI roads and some dispersed camping. This rig would fit in nicely with the others.
