As appealing as I found this video initially, I think it overlooks something fundamental. The notion that Palestinians by and large saw the establishment of the State of Israel as analogous to suddenly being in a house share, not necessarily liking it, but willing to do what was necessary to make the new arrangement work, is false.
Most Palestinians - quite understandably - saw the establishment of Israel as an annexation of their land undertaken by the West; in other words, as an invasion. So they (and surrounding Arab nations) fought back, mostly incompetently, since they were completely outmatched by Israel's use of Western military technology and methods. And every time they've unsuccessfully tried fighting back, Israel has been given a pretext for taking over more land (i.e. more rooms in the house) to ensure their security.
Unless the legitimacy of Israel's establishment is confronted instead of assumed, this cycle will continue. It's completely understandable that Jews, after thousands of years of being subjected to genocidal oppression, would want to establish a haven where they can protect themselves. But when that's done by taking land where people have been living for a long time, those people will be outraged, and they won't much care why you did it.
Indeed, a bit closer to the truth. But lets be very clear here, the jews have a very long history of living in that area. Before they were chased out by arabs. So who is then right and who is wrong? What is clear is that one side just wants to eradicate the other… so that is another premise that should be contended
The real question is: What haven can the Jews have?
My family was slaughtered in Europe, my wife's family was expelled from Iraq. Same goes for Jew persecuted in Russia, North Africa, Iran, and more.

When the Palestinians understand that we are not going anywhere, we can start discussing about peace, security and prosperity.

What's troubling to me is the gaslighting that too many Israelis engage in to pretend that they are the good actors in this conflict,. For years, I've heard Israelis assert that Palestinians should "just get over it." That's pretty rich coming from people who claim Israel is "The historical home of the Jewish people" based on events that happened 1000s of years ago.
In establishing the State of Israel, the Western powers were making the Palestinians pay the price for the West's crimes against Jews. Why not force Germany to give up part of Bavaria for a Jewish State iin 1945? That would've been far more just.

Why? ppl have been hating the Jews in Israel (AKA "ZIONISTS") for a long time.
If i would redo this skit, I'd say that palestine already owned the house, but then some shady business man (UK) bought the entire neighbourhood and chose to give this house to a friend of his. at first the the owner accepted the guest and let em have a room and share the house as a guest. But then the guest started beating the owner up and locking him sometimes in the attic and other times in the basement with support of his friend who happened to be a self-appointed police officer (US). And the neighbours just sit and just call it out from the window and doing nothing while the police (US & Europe) are just turning a blind eye to the whole thing.
But they technically didn't though.... Remember 3000 years ago it belonged to Jews too
