Oh wow I felt exactly the same about the shaghaff oud tonka. I hate the opening notes. It smells too synthetic or tart. It imo just does not smell nice. So this is one of THOSE blind buys gone bad for me. I have put it away in hope that it will improve over time.

I hope Oud Tonka grows on you - the responses to this fragrance as so different. I've heard it described as delicious almond cookie dough, but you don't seem to get that impression at all. Makes a blind buyer nervous!
You mentioned that some fragrances you bought on Aroma Concepts - but you're based in Canada? Do you have to pay extra duties and taxes? Super curious since I'm in Canada too!
Oud Tonka grabbed my attention too, until I went and tried it in store and couldn't stand it 😅 the almond is way too overpowering, like almond massage oil, I kept getting an almost medicinal note to it. But to be fair the dry down is very pleasant. So if you don't hate almonds and have the patience to let it sit on you for an hour or so, you'll like it. I personally do not have the patience nor the tolerance of such an almond centric scent on me, so I passed.
But I did end up falling in love with another Swiss Arabian perfume while in store- Rose 01!
Now Rose 01 is TO DIE FOR! ❤

@@wendygordon1888 yep, all the hype makes it as if it's gonna blow your mind. I even got a free sample of it with the Rose 01 I bought, but I don't wanna use it 😅
If you want I recommend you try Amber 01, it's much better compared to Oud Tonka, it's pleasant, it's fresh, almost cold and airy and the dry down is so addictive. It's on my list for next purchase, as we've a Ramadan/Eid sale going on in the UAE till May 4th 🤩

Marina by Taskeen smell like FeBreeze and I am so mad TikTok hyped it up because it’s a BIG NO for me.
For real. I hate it. Taskeen peach makes me sick. I told my husband its a loss for me. I took it outside, placed it outside and burst it!! Nope, smells bad to me.

A company sent me Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense by accident, and the Postal Service wouldn't let us return it at first, but my husband downplayed the size of the bottle and sent it back, finally. I kind of wish that I had just kept it when we were denied the first time 😂 (What I ordered was Supremacy in Heaven which is inspired by Silver Mountain Water and comes in a gorgeous blue bottle that my teenaged nephew really liked). I've been curious about some of these and find it hard to go back to Western fragrances because I am now gifting friends and family with small collections of fragrances for the price of what I used to pay for one, and building my husband and myself an extensive fragrance wardrobe in the process of testing out the latest in search of winners. I take it that you don't like powdery scents, in which case don't ever get Baroque Satin Mood, it's like Madame Rochas just had a diaper change with copious amounts of Johnson & Johnson baby powder.

I ordered Sensuous Night recently but it seems pretty weak. The smell is lovely but so light I can't even smell it after couple of minutes. I hope it will get stronger with time as I only opened my bottle yesterday! It would be such a disappointment if the longevity was that poor! Is it longlasting for anyone?

I am a parfum collector.. you're the worst and the funniest TH-camr's parfum reviewor.. you didn't even mention the name of the parfum and the house's parfum... You west your money to buy this fragrances and you didn't even take time to read there names . 😅😅😅😅
Well, if you check the description, maybe you would see the names and you know what I’m talking about and I did put them on the screen.

Lets see how it should be done then, since you're a collector and an expert at reviewing other people's content.
not to be rude but are you a little slow? or legally blind? (if so, my apologies) but every time she reviews each perfume, she quite literally says the name, brand, etc. then talks about the notes. sometimes she even spells out the brand name for you like she did for one of the first perfumes she spoke about in this video. & then she AGAIN lists all of the perfume names & brands underneath the video. not exactly sure how you could have possible missed any of that but if you’re slow or blind it makes sense.
