My father used to make furniture without nails. I still have the bedroom set he made. His father and grandfather taught him when he was young. Seeing how much work goes into it. It is impressive for a big ship to have been built without nails but not impossible. Since wooden pegs are a form of a nail.

Honestly? Really be honest. Without steel tools the builders would really have had to be 600 years old to get it done. Just look at the deterioration that occurs in a house built of wood over 50 years old. A boat left out the weather with no paint or covers would see Timbers twist and rot and insects would attack it. Assuming only a few hundred people were involved in building it, they would have consumed the resources of a small nation. Just look at the amount of seasoned timber needed. The only way this mock up is hanging together is that there is zero movement of the ground underneath. If it were floated on anything other than a millpond, it would flex and start leaking. It’s a lovely fun kids story but god knows it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously.

@@tonyvjames why, if Noah understood, a flood was going to happen would he recruit hundreds of ppl to build an ark, and, not promise to save them too? Fifty to seventy years of building. A nationnof folks, to build an ark. All, to drown. They had children. Wives, to cook and feed, sew the clothes, etc. All, to drown. Hitler, had followers too.

@@jasonaltig985 Noah was a hypocrite, horn dog and murderer. Amazing millions believe his story and the predatorial popes who wrote the scriptures all read, follow today. And Islamics who believe Allah was the one with hundred wives in heaven, obeying his every sexual needs and wants. Let's talk about a virgin. The one whom actually changed the world with her slutty ness. Lol. Today, ppl adore her and her act. And the world claims a woman, is second class. Never her. She has the world, even today, believing she had God's son and they should get baptized and follow him. Can you imagine a world, without fantasy and mental illness? Forcing their own kids to pray to her son, or be punished going to hell? Or go see an ark. Pay money to capitalism and more mental illness. Nothing will change. She- wins. One woman. Mocking the world of second class men. Lil boys.

Im sad to see all these comments not understanding the main point of building the ark. It was to recreate one of the bibles origin stories to understand how we got to who we are today. The world was full of sin and Noah and his family were believers. He destroyed the people because of our free will and we chose to corrupt the world. This generation is doing an okay job and becoming better and learning to love but can we just remember to accept ppl and I will be praying for each of you because without a single doubt I know my God is real.

Really cool video. The only thing I’m not sure about is I don’t think the animals needed cages. We know in heaven the lion and the lamb sleep together peacefully. And even on earth God shut the mouths of the lions in Daniel and the lions den. There’s no reason that god couldn’t make the animals just get along and behave while on board.
There’s also the theory a lot of animals were young or babies. So they wouldn’t die on board and wouldn’t eat a lot. And also give everyone a lot more space. We have videos of baby cheetahs best friends with puppies and them still being friends as adults in the zoos today. Something like that is totally plausible especially short term.
Maybe they had cages just for organization. But I doubt it.

The exterior is awe-inspiring. However, 30 minutes (if not sooner) into the tour, you will likely realize that the entire story has been HIJACKED by corporate Christianity. The entire story is morphed into aligning completely with the Theory of Evolution and political correctness. It borders on wokeness and hoping to appease the NEW Christian Left taking over many churches in the past 5 years. Perhaps the original creators had a biblical vision for the presentation.....but that is not the case for our visit in July 2021.....very disappointed.

You apparently missed the main part of the Ark Encounter. That is the signs, dioramas, videos. The Ark and displays bring one to the Encounter. You missed all the information.

How many plants survived the flood by staying aboard the Ark?
How did Yahweh get the 40 foot tall foot dinosaurs through the small door?
Did Yahweh put the animals to sleep?
What did Noah and the animals eat when they left the Ark?
How did the kangaroos cross the ocean?

    • @vivliforia2262
      @vivliforia2262 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      1) Oh, many plants of course survived. Didn't you know that there are many seemingly ancient plants in some parts of the world? Some of the plants didn't need to be brought into the ark, because the flood happened unlike a sudden massive tsunami destroying everything. The flood happened globally but gradually: consecutive downpour for days, water coming up from the plate cracks (there is much much more water inside the Earth (the crust or the mantle, ya know)). The processes like that make the plants drowned without getting destroyed.
      2) Much younger dinosaurs could get into the ark door because of their small sizes.
      3) Of course, the animals woke up and slept. Not all animals can hibernate.
      4) They previously had made a lot of preparation, for example gathering food supply for the animals and for the family for a long term. After leaving the ark? Read 1)
      5) Kangaroos inside the ark? Simple. Pangea.
      Hope that helps.

@Deb Harris 1. There are tons of fluctuations in water levels throughout history so saying a “flood” from Noah’s ark is proven by geological records is like saying warming patterns over the past 4 billion years was evidence that a civilization 2 billion years ago used solar panels.

I muck out horses during the winter months and it is a LOT of manure and work for just horse stables. Now consider the number of creatures on this ark vs the number of people. Who exactly mucked them all out every day? How was the hundreds of tons of excrement removed every day by limited people? The urine alone would need many people pumping out the bilge to prevent sinking. Not forgetting the other chores, such as feeding and watering, plus sorting your own food and water needs etc.
