Btw this cleans the rollers which if are dirty they wont pull the disk in properly
My neighbour and I had the idea of wetting the top of a disc with isopropyl alcohol and then doing load/eject cycles in order to clean the rollers, re-wetting the disc when it got dry (usually after one cycle)... it worked pretty well!

By God, it worked. Did not expect that in the slightest. I used isopropyl alcohol, not sure about spit.

I’ve been having the same problem, basically the rollers aren’t sticky so they don’t grip the disk and hence why it just rolls and disk gets stuck, I use tweezers to get the disk out every time but it still works
Wouldn’t tweezers scratch your disc?

Mine was stuck getting the disk out, took it apart, gave it a well needed clean after god knows how long, took rollers off, it ejects with ease so I'll try this in a couple hours and I'll comment how it goes. Cheers
Edit. After using a minute amount of saliva, and a cotton bud, it takes disks a lot better. So much dust was accumulated inside. Cheers for this

so ive tried the method of using q-tips with isopropyl and i've noticed that mine feels stiff after taking a disc in after several hours, sometimes days even. and because of this when I eject there is a clicking noise and it usually gets stuck so i have to keep hitting the eject button repeatedly several times until it slowly comes out. but after using a disc of any kind quite a few times in a day the rollers loosen up and it usually ejects ok. but even with that method of using isopropyl I still run into this problem. what should i do?
Could be a dislodged roller

Can you help me? The rollers are not rolling on my ps4 slim. Also the big white thing on the left wont go all the way unless i use a lotta force. The rollers can only spin if i use the eject screw
You might need to take the drive apart. It sounds like the rollers have come off. My son got Lego stuck in one once and it knocked the rollers off.
@@IDreamOfGaming no nothing has come off. Ive opened it a few times, watched some tutorials but nothing explains my problem. So when i open my ps4 the rollers start rolling for like 15 seconds and then i cant get my disk inside because the rollers wont pull. And if i insert it manually with the screw then it wont be detected but i can take it out by pressing the button but the rollers will continue rolling for an additional 5 sec even tho the disk is already out...
@@idk-kz2jg have you checked the rollers are in the right place. I had one that the left roller was out and it took discs in on one side only. If I remember correctly there are three parts to the rollers and they join.

Only the gta5 wont go easily and the others do
That is weird. Although I had issues with a GTA5 disc on an original PS4.

@@deadhard167 sort of if you wet a game disk just a little (water) put it into the system the rollers in the machine will be a bit wetter and the game shuld go in becouse the rollers won't be sticky untill there made wetter

It worked for a sec then went back to how it was now get a nail file and slide it across rollers and walla permanently fixed it
