He has this neverending hunger to better himself and prove himself better and better. He. does. not. Settle. for anything or anyone. And that is why he is becoming better and beating some of the best rappers. Not just by speed but by reinventing sounds, being creative, having flow and sounding like a whole damn boss while doing it. He does so many tonguetwisters we dont know about because we are not korean and its impossible to really understand the true depth of some of his raps and songs because of that. Oh I remember you from a video about Jisung(I've forgotten which one exactly) but you said you are a solo stan for Han 😂. Glad to see you still love him. So are you a STAY now?
So... I enjoyed all the songs (all solo included), for ot8 songs Bounce Back is my favourite because of the rap. I can't say I've ever stopped appreciating any skz rap because even when objective rap quality went a bit down, raps were still catchy and that's a quality I appreciate too (example of this is both raps by Changbin in chk chk boom: quality wise pretty normal, but delivery and cadence are catchy)... But still cool raps in terms of quality are unbeatable and THIS was it. I think 3 things are the reasons rap quality in skz songs went down: 1. Way shorter songs 2. Rap verses too divided between members, result probably of them wanting to have an "equal" line distribution (and my opinion on this is unpopular among stays cause they think if you say line distribution doesn't need to be equal in each song you don't care about all members) 3. Them, especially Changbin imho, being a bit content with the amazing rap verses they put out in the past. I think Walking on water would have been the perfect occasion to show off because of the genre but it's too short and rap verses are too short. I love the song but rap wise is not impressive. So yeah I'm happy Han went off in Bounce Back
Same. Thank you Han. That special things about Han. If you’re a great rapper doesnt matter short or long verse you still shines. Every cb he comes up with new styles and flows
@CarKpop in the intro to this album Han said that he had to edit this down so they could use it, even saying they wanted this to be the title track. For this specific issue, I think it’s less about the song length and more about line distribution. Like look, if I’m sitting through a 5 minute long Kpop song, I personally don’t want to hear all 8 members of SKZ (for the instant) in perfect amount of split time. I don’t think it’s needed nor required. Based on the style of song and the goal they’re trying to achieve when writing it, different members should have more or less time… same applies to 2.5 minute songs… give CB & Han each a 30 or 45 second verse … the rest of the member split the remaining time in some way…THEN, the next song which is focused on vocals and only 2 minutes, have it be mainly Seungmin and IN, etc etc etc etc etc… The issue is stemming from the need to please all fans which leaves no fan truly happy at the end of the day, sadly.. each member should be used to their strength, that’s the point of having a group but alas, we’re subjected to equal time amongst members in every way..
@@sanjivinisinha2672 The bridge, the one part in a song that is normally quite different from the rest of the song. Skz do have it normally though but it is nowadays quite small.
