To start with, I am a Safari owner. I have also driven the Scorpio N for relatively longer distances than these reviewers did in the video. The Scorpio N does have body roll at higher speeds on turns, which is understandable considering it's a ladder frame. However it's not like what the Safari owner is saying. The Scorpio N is also stable at higher speeds though i didn't push it over 120 kmph. Even then it had enough juice to keep pulling. You actually don't feel like its doing 120kmph apart from the slight wind noise. The Scorpio N steering also weighs up, but yes I would have preferred more weight, but it is probably because I am used to the Safari's heavy steering. The Safari is more stable in corners no doubt as its a monocoque, but the difference isn't that big with the new Scorpio. The heavy steering of the Safari is fun to drive when you are at good speeds, feels very responsive, even with the pull on one side, but its a pain in the city. Im not sure what the owner of the Safari here is talking about in respect to the clutch and brake pads being high. Probably something to do with the seat height adjustment. But the Safari has a very deep clutch. It seems like going and going. You won't feel much on short drives, but if you are into road trips, boy your one leg is going to look like the Rock's Arm. The knee also fouls against the center console in the Safari and with no combination of seat and steering adjustment I could avoid that and depress the clutch fully.Get an automatic though, and you won't have the problem. The Scorpio N however isn't all perfect. Boot space and third row is a joke. Overall the Scorpio N lacks a lot of storage area. You won't notice it until you start living with it. The 12v socket is in the rear, so a good bye tire inflator. I don't give a damn about sunroofs as I don't think it's practical in our country. And trust me, in all these years, I have just opened the glass during the initial ownership. If you leave your blinds open for too long, you can bake a cake in the car. The Scorpio N also creaks when going off the road, probably the frame twisting. And I mean off roads and not bad roads, the one with pot holes and water logging. Yes one thing they both have in common, the quality of the service sucks. The Safari looks much better than the Scorpio N (looks are subjective). But the Scorpio N is a more capable car when it comes to getting out of tricky places, with or without the 4*4 due to the rear wheel drive. Would I have brought a Scorpio N if I had another chance...Nah.. I wouldn't have brought this Safari either, if the Safari Storme was in production. But I can tell you this..The Scorpio N is the closest we have to the Safari Storme.
Scorpio N is SUV and Safari is Crossover.. Scorpio N is rear wheel drive, ladder on frame and with True 4WD.. If you like driving then Mahindra ka Mhawk engine apko nirash nhi karega..

Seating height does not necessarily mean that the ground clearance of the car is also as high. Wrong point highlighted there that high seating gives more confidence of pushing the car roughly on potholes, etc
Safari (Buzzard/Gravitas) is a 7 seater hatchback with 200mm of Ground clearance. Its SUV only from tax definition, otherwise a front wheel drive vehicle can't be called SUV
The Safari guy is actually talking sense. The issue he highlighted in Scorpio N actually makes a lot of difference at longer run. In a large family SUV comfort is paramount.

Safari guy was not knowledgeable instead had ego. Mahindra guy was accepting flaws but safari guy was to much egoistic. First of all Safari is front wheel and unibody chasis and height is less so it is more stable just like a SEDAN. SUV were meant for off road so they tend to move sideways because chassis and body are separated which provides RIGIDiTY and toughness. It is like apples and oranges we are comparing CROSSOVER or mild SUV with proper SUV.

Very disappointed with multiple problems I am facing … 1 DPF FILTER clogging. 2 airbag off.. 3 can’t run this car on slow speed for long dpf filter clogging occurs .. 4 . Can’t run idle just for Ac … Please guys do not trust these video maker only .. watch the muiltiple videos of problem faced by scorpio N owner .. pathetic service …

Safari: Pros: Planted drive, good features, milage equal to Scorpio, third and middle row space, lasr row AC vents, good sitting posture, ground clearance, ventilated seats Cons: Very heavy streeing, seating feels low, noisy cabin, loud engine noise as it feels under power, knee space for driver, Black color is unnecessary costly, tyres are not as good as Scorpio, look is more like streached harrier.

Not True. Based on ur logic, even Jeep compass, Land rover all are MPVish since they're not body on frame. Problem of Body on frame is instability at high speeds. Try driving body on frame vehiches at 140 Kmph and try changing lanes fast. FCA engine is world wide trusted, Mhawk is tested only in India and some african nations. Hydraulic steering are not always bad, but yeah "kids" might have issue tuning it. Lol. Fortuner is highly overpriced. Govt (GST) and Toyota is minting money in all Toyota vehicles. 60 Lakh on road for fortuner, and it's interior are not worthy even of a 30 lakh Rs vehicle.

It is obvious that a monocoque would be a better handler than Body on Frame but the ride comfort of Scorpio-N is not that bad and it is more powerful than Safari, has independent suspension, is RWD with proper 4x4 option and 2.2 Mhawk is a proven engine for last 14-15 years!

Scorpio Sales (Classic & N together) = 9000 units a month In that sense, u will have to add Harrier and Safari 2092 + 1687 units a month in July 2023. Total 3750 approx. Not a flop, but a matter of preference, esp for rural crowds.

Safari is way better and far superior than Scorpio N in terms of everything from space comfort safety and build quality to driving experience and design. The only advantage scorpio n gets is the 4x4 which no one is going to use and go that much off road but otherwise there is nothing special in new scorpio n. Performance wise also Safari is way more engaging and fun to drive than the Scorpio N even though it has 2 litre diesel engine. Even in Space and Comfort especially in third row Safari is another clear winner. So overall Safari is more sensible buy and best in segment in terms of everything. The only advantage Scorpio N gets is 4x4 which no one is going to use and go that much off road in real life otherwise there is nothing special in Scorpio N and is a complete waste and worthless car. So Definitely Tata Safari is the Best and More Superior and Way Better than the worthless Scorpio N and plus it is a mahindra which has lots of quality and service issues. Safari and Harrier are the only SUVs which are Truly Value for Money but rest others are especially Scorpio N and other Mahindra Cars are a completely big zero. I would rate Scorpio N 0/10 whereas Safari and Harrier are 10/10.

Hydraulic steering are not always bad, but yeah "kids" might have issue tuning it. Lol. Fortuner is highly overpriced. Govt (GST) and Toyota is minting money in all Toyota vehicles. 60 Lakh on road for fortuner, and it's interior are not worthy even of a 30 lakh Rs vehicle.
@@Krishna_JG I think you own the Stretched Harrier. Scorpio-N and Safari are different as chalk and cheese. It is obvious that a monocoque would be a better handler than Body on Frame but the ride comfort of Scorpio-N is not that bad and it is more powerful than Safari, has independent suspension, is RWD with proper 4x4 option and 2.2 Mhawk is a proven engine for last 14-15 years!
@@generaldong1090 Never tried to mix chalk and cheese. In that line of thought, Scorpio N is just a fancy old Scorpio. Also, I told abt handling (not ride comfort). Mhawk is tested, but FCA engines are test much more "world wide".

This new Scorpio is atleast 3 generation ahead of Old Scorpio, you should drive one before making vague comments. Scorpio-N sells > 9000 and Safari just 1500. Safari is a flop car which sells due to the sole reason of long waiting list foe XUV700 & Scorpio-N!

For me Scorpio N seems underpowered considering it has 250 cc more.

In that sense, u will have to add Harrier and Safari 2092 + 1687 units a month in July 2023. Total 3750 approx.

Safari is way better and far superior than Scorpio N in terms of everything from space comfort safety and build quality to driving experience and design. The only advantage scorpio n gets is the 4x4 which no one is going to use and go that much off road but otherwise there is nothing special in new scorpio n. Performance wise also Safari is way more engaging and fun to drive than the Scorpio N even though it has 2 litre diesel engine. Even in Space and Comfort especially in third row Safari is another clear winner. So overall Safari is more sensible buy and best in segment in terms of everything. The only advantage Scorpio N gets is 4x4 which no one is going to use and go that much off road in real life otherwise there is nothing special in Scorpio N and is a complete waste and worthless car. So Definitely Tata Safari is the Best and More Superior and Way Better than the worthless Scorpio N and plus it is a mahindra which has lots of quality and service issues. Safari and Harrier are the only SUVs which are Truly Value for Money but rest others are especially Scorpio N and other Mahindra Cars are a completely big zero. I would rate Scorpio N 0/10 whereas Safari and Harrier are 10/10.
