The Glock 17 4th Generation is a semi-automatic pistol that has earned a reputation for its reliability, durability, and widespread use by military, law enforcement, and civilian shooters around the world. Introduced in 2010, the 4th generation of the Glock 17 includes several updates from its predecessors. One of the most notable features is the Modular Back Strap system, allowing users to adjust the grip size to better fit their hand, enhancing comfort and control. The pistol is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, with a standard magazine capacity of 17 rounds, though extended magazines are available. The 4th Gen model also features a dual recoil spring assembly, which reduces felt recoil and extends the service life of the spring. Additionally, it comes with a Rough Textured Frame (RTF) surface for improved grip, and a reversible enlarged magazine catch, making it more user-friendly for left-handed shooters. Weighing around 710 grams (25 ounces) unloaded and measuring 202 mm (7.95 inches) in overall length, the Glock 17 4th Gen maintains the brand's reputation for simplicity, with a minimal number of parts, contributing to ease of maintenance and reliability under adverse conditions. It also continues Glock's legacy of the "Safe Action" system, which includes three passive safeties that disengage sequentially when the trigger is pulled, providing a consistent trigger pull while enhancing safety.

Also things like frts are not machine guns because they only make the gun shoot once per trigger pull they just make the gun reset the trigger faster than you can with your own finger.

Go to the range, and compare your accuracy shooting one round at a time with just double-tapping (unless you seriously practice double-tapping, and of course use two hands). You can legally own a machine gun in most states, but they have to be on the NFA registration under federal law. The NFA registration for machine guns was closed May 19th 1986. Because Glock switches are manufactured after 1986, they are not personal property like a suppressor or Short Barreled Rifle you would pay a $200 tax stamp for.
