3rd Saturday in January. 62 miles/100 kilometers from I-35 in Austin, Texas to Fisherman's Park in Bastrop, Texas. Start of SUP Race in Utley, Texas and tandem canoe podium finishers. Overcast, breezy, but above freezing as Competition and Adventure classes made their way from Longhorn Dam (construction above dam prevented I-35 start) to Fisherman's Park. River flow was minimal and some hulls took damage navigating the less turbid water freezing weather left from a few days prior.
