"Open your heart to the world as you have opened it to me, and you will find every reason to keep living in it." What a BEAUTIFUL line. Definitely got me
It's incredible how the influence of Faye can be felt through the entirety of this game, despite having such a small role. Her influence on her son, on Kratos, on the giants. How she defied everyone to keep her family safe. What a lady.
remember what Kratos said to his son... close your heart to it .... they will not care for you .. but she said .. open your heart to the world ......as you have opened it to me ...

I understand. GOW 2018 hit me because my mom died in 2015 to cancer when I just turned 18 a few month prior and that one hit hard. And in horrible dumb fashion or bad luck. I don't know which. This game hit me really really hard. My dad died 2.5 weeks prior to me getting and playing this game. So he passed about 4 weeks ago now to a heart attack. The father/son dynamic of this game and the tough but endless love for Atrues that Kratos shows in this game. Is exactly how my dad was to me. It's absolutely heart-wrenching to watch but beautiful. I almost, and basically did break down at the runaway scene when Atreus returns. At the end of everything that happened, all Kratos wanted to know was if his son was okay. I ran away at 16 for 7 weeks due to my stepmom being abusive. I just couldn't take it anymore. So I ran. When he convinced me to come home. All of his anger, pain, and worry immediately faded and he just hugged me and cried. So now that he's gone, I hate that put him through that and wish I didnt run. But my stepmom was relentless and horrible and she was very decietful. So my dad was pretty well tricked as well. At least GOW 2018. I was able to work and move on for 3 years or so before playing such a heartfelt game about a mom. So I expected this one to sting and have emotion but the level of emotion, even at parts not many others probably would think to be emotional, got me. Like the freeing of the hafgufa when mimir says, "maybe your father just wants to spend time with you ... with what time he's got left". I just started watching you, you were in my suggested due to watching GOW vids. So I didn't know that happened to you 'till now. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It is never easy. Just know though, she is still watching over you. Thank you for playing this game. It is amazing to watch someone that plays with such emotion, an open heart, and a passion for the game they're playing. While also not hiding what they feel.
@@Skyytea There's actually one more story important thing to do. Go to the Raven Tree in Niflheim and there's a new path leading to a very interesting place that's only there post game.
Definitely one of the best games to ever come out. This franchise has had such a huge impact on me that very few other games have. Can’t wait to see what comes next for Kratos and Atreus. Love to see someone as passionate and engaged in the story as you. Keep up the great work and don’t change for anyone.❤
Freyr possibly has the most myth accurate death in all the games. In the original Ragnarok prophesy, he is meant to be disintegrated by Surtr's flaming sword in the blow that concludes the apocalypse. Side-trivia: Skjoldr is the legendary first king of Denmark and ancestor of King Hrotgar, the danish king from the tale of Beowulf
something that really stuck with me is how odin killed thor without so much as a SPLIT SECOND of hesitation. "no" had barely left thors mouth and odin was already positioning himself for the death blow. even his own kin were just pieces on a game board to him
What a game, truly such an emotional journey. The idea of Kratos finally having people who worship and respect him for more than his acts of violence is so beautiful.
1:41:36 They are definitely setting up a sequel or a at least as spin-off series that follows Atreus. Seeing as he mention the giants aren't anywhere in any of the realms, so we can expect that's how we might end up getting a game in Egypt, Japan, Southern/Middle America.
@@Skyytea I think the next GoW could do a reverse bait and switch. Loki gets in trouble in a distant land trying to help the giants while we're playing as him, and we still end up playing Kratos for the majority of the game, to get Loki out of trouble. I think maybe even pitting Kratos against Atreus if he has some extreme methods in helping the giants.
I think the Sindri finishing Odin was the most unexpected but satisfying end to this. If you had told me 2 years ago that Sindri was the one who kills the All Father 💀I would not believe it. crazy how things play out. The entire game was a rollercoaster oof
Sindri killing Odin makes perfect sense, too. Odin's greatest desire was control, but losing control of himself caused Brok's death and Sindri's volatility - his undoing. All 3 of the other people there chose not to kill Odin.
Kratos breaking down after seeing his last hidden mural of people worshipping him broke me down to tears. It was the most poignant moment in the game for me because it encapsulates the entire franchise and not just this one game.
GOW 2018 and Ragnarok sucks tho. Old games were way way better. Men are getting weaker and eliminating the man hood they had. Woke culture also destroyed Kratos.
@@mannyblackstar If you think Kratos is in any way 'weak' just because he shows emotions other than rage then you are insane. 😂 As much as actual woke culture sucks, people like you who call anything and everything woke suck just as much, two sides of the same stupidity coin.
What a fantastic journey, it was great following along, Sky, thank you! 😄 I have to say, seeing Kratos on that mural being worshiped and praised in the name of peace for the first time was so heartwarming. His growth is one of the best I've seen in any franchise 🙏🏻
Kratos finally becomes a true God of War! Edit: Snakes looks different because that’s the snake he put the soul into. Also remember in the previous game Mimir had stated the snake mentioned about Atreus seeming familiar…
@@Skyytea I loved watching as out of hundreds of playthroughs I've seen you are the ONLY one to mention the snake and even come close. The snake IS the one from Ironwood which Atreus rescued by putting a giants souls into it. Probably one that already had a grudge against Thor for past deeds. Mimir not only said that Jormundandr recognised Atreus he also mentioned how nobody knew where the snake had come from as he just appeared one day and kept growing until eventually circling the whole world. During the fight with Thor the young Jormundandr vanished which was when Thor caused Yddrassil to crack and the snake got sent back through time to even before his birth. The snakes are both Jormundandr just from two different timezones of the same creature. Made my day seeing somone finally acknowledge it. Thank You
I felt so bad for Sindri. He went from from being a germaphobe to not carrying anymore. Also, he was the only dwarf afraid of kratos. At the end he stood up to kratos and grunt. 😢
Seeing the last panel depicting Kratos being worshiped, respected and loved by all the 9 Realms really made me emotional. He is finally loved, acknowledged and accepted by others for being more than just a destroyer of worlds and a brutal God of War. He really became better than what he was in the past. This entire Norse saga is a redemption arc for Kratos, and he had truly turned his image around and redeemed himself.
And with this epic finale I wanna say thank you so much for another amazing and maybe final God of War playthrough, for now. The God of War games are such masterpieces and I loved every second of it. And I absolutely loved your playthroughs for all of them. Ever since I found your channel from when you played the original GOW games to then playing the 2018 and now Ragnarok, I was so drawn to your playthroughs for how genuine you were throughout each of them. And this playthrough was no exception of that. I just can't get enough of how emotionally attached you've gotten to these amazing characters and in general, I love how emotional you got throughout this episode. I am also so bummed that Thor died especially after he finally realized how wrong his father was and stood up to him. I wish he could've survived. But one thing I'm incredibly happy about is that after all this time and after everything Kratos has been through, he seems to finally have peace and I almost feel like this game is a conclusion to his story cause I'm not entirely sure where you go from here or at least how you go from here except maybe following Atreus on his journey. So once again thanks for such an amazing, crazy, wild and emotional ride of this playthrough and all of your GOW playthroughs Skyy ❤
Hands down the greatest game I’ve ever played. No form of entertainment has ever made me cry, I have teared up sure but flat out cry, only Ragnarok did that to me & it’s from a line that really hit home & was personal to me that I won’t share anytime soon. To see the development of Kratos though, to go from blind rage to satisfy his vengeance in the Greek games to now seeking justice instead of vengeance & even forgiving Thor in a sense. It’s just amazing how beautifully written his character is. I don’t think we’ll ever get a character as well written as Kratos in any video game in my opinion. I’m so glad I found your channel back when you barely had 1K subs & to see you grow since then til now is amazing. Seeing your journey through GOW was really fun but now 2023 holds a lotttt of other amazing games and I’ll be there for it all of course 👌
it doesn't matter how many times i watch folks play the endgame; the scene when Kratos blows Gjallarhorn and the music that accompanies it ALWAYS gives me chills. So epic. Bravo on another great Let's Play series Sky!
Thank you for sharing your play-through with us, it was such a pleasure from start to finish! It's been weeks since I've finished Ragnarok myself, but those moments at 11:39 and 1:35:45 still make me cry. Such beautiful writing, and that soundtrack! I look forward to seeing what you play next! 😊
The back side of the shrine shows Kratos’ story. Coming from Greece, everything that happened in 2018 and this game, and then the final panel is showing him becoming the benevolent god that Odin said he would never be. You can actually tell it’s the same panel as the one showing Kratos dying to Thor but Faye painted over it. She imagined a different ending for him. It showed Kratos being a god that mortals worshipped and loved similar to how Tyr was (the real Tyr). Kratos hates all gods and godhood, as he said he came to this land to escape from his past, but choosing to fight in Ragnarok was him accepting that he can no longer hide and remain neutral. He is a part of this world and has a responsibility to be better. When Mimir asked him what he saw in the shrine he replied, “A path. One I had never imagined.” Faye envisioned a path where Kratos would not be known as a god killer or a destroyer, but as a rebuilder and a benevolent god to the mortals. Something Kratos never imagined was possible for himself. Beautiful. Just a beautiful story.
Omg this was game was perfect from the start and till the end! "Loki goes, Atreus remains" this really got me so bad😭 So much loved your playthroughs skyy, enjoyed alot. Great gameplay. It feels soo good see someone who is so much in love for this series not only doing it for the views but emotionally into this game. Thank you for playing this game it's been an amazing journey. I watched a lot of TH-camrs played this game and you were my favourite❤️. and I enjoyed watching all of your GoW videos. Now I'm waiting for GoW prequals "Chains of Olympus" & "Ghost of Sparta"
I finished the game several weeks ago but have really enjoyed watching your playthrough so much that I've just subbed. I connect a lot more with streamers who are really into the game and emotionally invested in the same ways that I was when playing them. Great job with the channel and this playthrough!
Love/Loved watching your god of war playthroughs. As someone who grew up playing God of war back on ps2, experiencing Kratos' journey all the way to Ragnarok has been beyond special. It fills me with joy knowing that people such as yourself, who don't have that nostalgia factor, still love these games. I look forward to seeing your channel grow and watching more of your content 🙌🏼❤️
Just finished watching your the video, while you are fighting Gna on stream right now. And what you said at the end I feel the same with how they handled the themes of loss and grief. I love these games especially 2018 and Ragnarok. The father son relationship between Kratos and Atreus is something I really connected with. My mom passed away when I was about Atreus age in 2018 and my dad was never the best at expressing himself and was very stern because he came from an ex-military background and it took us years until we finally had a good father/son relationship and even friendship. Keep up the awesome work Sky! Looking forward to the next playthrough.
after watching your playthrough, you really a calm and reasonable person. The way you fight and facing an enemy especially a red bar berseker was very top notch..
I found your channel looking for GoW 2018 palythroughs. I'm glad your channel is gaining traction, and I've enjoyed getting to experience these games through your perspective. Thanks for your vulnerability in 18 and in Ragnarok. Looking forward to more content.
I've just found your channel and I've realized that you have great gameplays and knowledge about GoW series. Even though I didn't start to play GoW series, your gameplays are starting to make me start the series. I liked and subscribed already. 👍🏻
Such a masterpiece of a game. Anyone else noticed how Kratos woke up calmer after each dream with Faye. The first night he woke up in full panic mode, screaming and grabbing his axe. The second he was startled. And here fully calm.
Congrats Sky on beating the game and it’s been a thankful and pleasure of your play through and going through the emotions with you. And I’m sorry to hear for your loss with your mom❤ Can’t wait to see more play throughs with you.
I’ve been watching you from the first game up until now. Since you’ve played them all so close together you can appreciate just how excellent it is to have this ending for Kratos. That he can be a good god, one worthy of love and worship, for someone who has never thought himself worth anything such as that… I couldn’t think of a better fate for him
Enjoyed your playthrough. The GOW narrative and world is just amazing. The growth we see in Kratos was something NO ONE ever thought was possible, but 2018 GOW showed it and now Ragnarök proved that Kratos is way more than just a one dimensional character. I am excited to see what Santa Monica studios do now with this franchise,. So much possibilities!
The true mark of greatness is it stands the test of time. This game right here is fine wine. It was an overwhelming tear jerker when I watched it the first time it hits even harder as I watch it again. And that's just me watching you play. Thank you for the video. I loved it.
Your playthroughs has been the best ive watched since you played the other games too, so you have a greater appreciation for Kratos and his journey. Imo, his story is one of the best of all gaming, and is solidified very well with Ragnarok.
I've been waiting WEEKS to see you react to the ending and now that it's finally here, I cried like a dumb baby all over again watching this. 😭🤣 It has been such a cool experience to watch someone start the God of War franchise blind a few months ago, then continue watching their reaction to Kratos' entire journey. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with all the God of War fans, Sky. I didn't know this was something I needed. It's been so fun. ❤
Feel you super hard on this one, This was my game of the year. I too have lost someone dear and this game plus watching all of your play throughs have had me ball on occasion like a school girl . From a therapeutic standpoint this game is fantastic and hits those strings big time, it puts me at ease. Thankfully there is much more after game quest to jump into and have definitively subscribed to your channel to continue your journey, you got a fan here 👍🏽. Holidays are not easy these days but hope you can take the memories and take it all in, that’s what gets me through. 🙏
I can agree with Skyy on this one. I lost my eldest brothers on Father’s Day, his passing made me bitter, and heavily depressed, but learning how to cope and understand with lose has made things easier, he used to say that he admires my love of mythology, and this game has reminded me of him as well. videbimus in astris frater. 🌟
I remember as a kid, I played the GoW games for the fun of raging out like a tank. Never expected them to be the same games to bring tears to my eyes. Ragnarök hit me where almost nothing else did. Truly has a place in my heart ❤️ Thank you Santa Monica 🙏
It has been an honor to accompany her in this story Sky has been full of epic and very emotional moments and that ending was incredible to see Kratos cry that left me speechless congratulations Sky
Favorite reaction of any. You get emotional at the same parts as I do because you understand Kratos’ history and the true weight of all these moments and dialogue
The ending of Kratos being the Champion made me ball. Watching his entire journey and to experience everything he suffered through....is just amazing. He deserves it all. He has such an INCREDIBLE come back. Fucking love it.
no matter how many times did I see this Faye & Kratos Love Story, tears are going and going... For me, this is the most beautyfull Love Story in any game... And the tears... they are cleansing our souls. How many times are we trying to forget about our griefs when we lost someone? This is absolutely the best history I've ever experienced.
The Norse arc of God of War also hit close to home for me. I had just lost my mom when I played through GoW 2018. I lost my brother a year later, so Ragnarok was an experience that yet again painfully resonated with me. So, the recent GoW games are much more than games in my eyes. The wounds never completely heal, but at least there is comfort in moments of shared grief. RIP, Faye and Brok.
I really like how they did Brok's funeral. With Faye's funeral Kratos burned Faye's body on the logs which is a Greek tradition (ex: the Trojan war) but with Brok. They gave him the Norse tradition which is a custom where they send off the body ina boat and set it on fire into the ocean. It really is cool to see the S.M team honor each of the mythologies.
I’ve watched your whole God of War journey and loved every minute of it. You’re one of the coolest people I’ve ever subscribed to and can’t wait for more of your playthroughs or whatever videos you have in mind. A special thank you from a subscriber in Greece. 💙
that last picture depicting Kratos as a good god that everyone worships and is thankful for is just so sweet. Especially after Zues and Odin told him that no one would ever love him like that
It's always a pleasure watching your playthroughs, I watched this alongside my own play for the first half and your reactions were so relatable. It'd be awesome to see you explore some of the extra lore in the favours and take on Gna and Hrolf! Thanks for taking us along the Path, Sky!
Kratos seeing that shrine where ppl were actually worshipping him was so touching 😢😢😢. 17 years of character development My favorite Faye quote: “To grieve deeply is to have loved fully”
You became one of my favourite streamers if not the favourite, you are geniune and you dont over react, your emotions are real and I love watching your playthrough. I would like also to say that you have beautiful smile. Thank you for this playthrough.
Finally I did watched your all videos! But I finished the story last month lol. So you will battle all berserker and Gna too. Good luck!!! I do believe you will beat them!!! 👌
Love how the music of the Ragnarok battle slowly shifts from this epic battle theme to a somber song of loss and defeat as each of the realm towers gets taken down
1:38:35,,,here I feel emotional because I remember Odin once said to Kratos that he never felt people praying to him,but now kratos gets a prophecy that in the future people will worship him,Like the real gods.
I shed a little tear when I played this earlier this month, but I BAWLED my eyes out watching your reaction to the same thing! This has been such a great playthrough. I’m gonna have withdrawal symptoms for a while, I think. 😂
Heyy Sky, I have been a fan of God of War franchise since 2011. The first video of your channel that i came across was the 1st part for God of war 2018, and the moment you said that you were playing the entire series and this was the 4th game in your play through, I immediately stopped the video, went back to your play through of God of War 2005. I watched every single video of your God of war series playthrough and throughly enjoyed it and in turn i also got my memory refreshed on the entire series. I am really sad that this series has ended here for now :( This is the best series ever and KRATOS is my favourite video game character of all time.
The line “Loki will go. Atreus… Atreus remains.” absolutely destroys me every time. The score and Christopher Judge’s performance are incredible, not only throughout the game but especially in this moment. Looking at the first few God of Wars I never expected them to make me cry but they definitely earned it. From start to finish, Kratos’s journey is amazing not just from a story perspective but emotionally as well.
Funny lil easter egg I learned, the dude named "Raeb" is modeled after Bear McCreary the musical composer for Gow. That's why he's always hangin out playing instruments lol. Really enjoyed your playthrough, thanks!!
I’ve been around since the first god of war was released way back when on ps2 and it’s crazy to think how far this franchise has come. I’ve put in over 50 hours into this game and it’s the only PlayStation game I’ve 100% completed and gotten a platinum trophy. It was so much fun. I would have restarted but sadly there isn’t a new game+ yet.
Thanks for sharing your GoWR campaign. I just got a PS5, and I've never watched any other gamers before, but I definitely got the feels with these videos.
I came across this channel because of GOW but am here to stay with you Sky. Altho I dont think anyy series you will do in future could hold a special place in my heart as much as GOW games did but am excited to experience new adventures with you. U gotta play RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima, RDR2 and GOW Ragnarok have the best writing and acting in the medium of video games and would love to see u play RDR2 and also Ghost of Tsushima. Anyways God of war forever haha, I am sure u feel attached to Kratos and the GOW saga so much and just imagine what we feel, I have seen kratos matured with me. Hell there are GOW fans who even named their son as Atreus. The impact kratos has, I feel like we can find a secondary father figure in him. So much depth and poetry in each sentence kratos says. God I freaking love this Franchise
The final mural broke me more than the previous one. If you couldn't quite catch it, it showed Kratos's journey. First panel when he went from Olympus to Midgard, second panel is his journey (Atreus, Baldur's weakness, Jotunheim, and fighting Thor), and the third mural....it shows that he eventually becomes the god that leads the Eight Realms. That broke me the most. I remembered well on his previous Greek saga games that he's always been pictured a monster, a killer, Ghost of Sparta, god slayer, even Zeus as the Grave Digger from God of War: Ghost of Sparta literally called him "Death. The destroyer of worlds." It tears me up remembering everything he have gone through: losing his mother and brother, his Spartan wife and child, his homeland, being endlessly played and betrayed by mostly Gods and Titans of Greece. And despite all that, he still chose to be better, one of those things being breaking the cycle of vengeance, repressing his Rage, the way he treats Atreus, and the way he cared about the Nine Realms and everyone in it. He even managed to tone down the strongest god of the Nine Realms himself, Thor. All those things, resulted in the perfect ending: being a god, the one that will be loved throughout the Eight Realms. Of course he will be a far better leader that Odin. I still cry (along with Kratos) everytime I watch that final mural scene. Guy just needs a break and he finally earn it in the most beautiful way possible. PS: I STILL CAN'T GET OVER ODIN'S DEATH, WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY SHOWN AS KRATOS' DEATH IN ATREUS ARMS. I guess they can really change the fate~
Losing my brother 6 months ago makes this that much more gut wrenching. Makes it even more sad that Brok was robbed of an afterlife. Lot of great emotional stuff here. Mu father about 2 years ago died too so the family dynamic hits me hard. Also I liked how they didn't go the typical route where Sindri just forgave them by the end of the game. The look that he gave Kratos at the funeral was perfect the way it combined sadness and rage together.
There are many moments that went beyond any expectations, but one of my favorites is this: Kratos finally got the chance to be wholeheartedly human again. He'll probably be one of the nicest top gods around because of it. Damn Odin. He deliberately went all out to make everybody in-game AND the audience to not have good things, times, or people.
Your gameplay was the best. It's because you put your heart in it... Maybe it's because of your story. Congratulations regardless, you really gave real emotion on these videos.
Have thoroughly enjoyed all of your GoW play throughs. I haven’t played one since GoW 2 back in the PS2 days. I loved the whole redemption arc Kratos had through the last 2 games and just how overall epic the last 2 games were in general. Would love to see you play through the newer Tomb Raider series, Assassin’s Creed, and Mass Effect as recommendations!
This soundtrack. Man, so deserving that it got OST of the year. I can't remember a movie or game that invoked more emotion than this soundtracks did. This is like Last Samurai levels of OST.
"Open your heart to the world as you have opened it to me, and you will find every reason to keep living in it." What a BEAUTIFUL line. Definitely got me
Especially when its said to a protective, secluded man like Kratos it hits way harder

My exact thoughts. Hopefully we can get a better weapon for him other than a wooden bow to smack enemies with 🤞🏼
@@Skyytea I think the next GoW could do a reverse bait and switch.
Definitely! I cheered out loud! Couldn't stand the thought of Odin not being as gone as possible.
@@mannyblackstarnice bait
@@ArchLordXarnor kids love new games enjoy your pieces
@@mannyblackstar nice dummy bait
@@mannyblackstar If you think Kratos is in any way 'weak' just because he shows emotions other than rage then you are insane. 😂
As much as actual woke culture sucks, people like you who call anything and everything woke suck just as much, two sides of the same stupidity coin.
What a fantastic journey, it was great following along, Sky, thank you! 😄
I have to say, seeing Kratos on that mural being worshiped and praised in the name of peace for the first time was so heartwarming.
Yes, I was just surprised it was the small snake and not the larger one but at this point I fully understand why
11:39
Goosebumps everytime, such a beautiful scene
Thank you for bringing us along this journey of yours sky !
My pleasure, thank you for watching 😊🙏🏼
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I’ve loved playing these games with you guys ❤
you spoke on behalf of all of us.... thank u
1:30:15 the way your eyes widen when Atreus holds Angrboda’s hand 🤣
To learn nothing else… Kratos loves his son so much. And that love changed him for the better
I wish his daughter were still alive. Atreus could’ve had his big sister around.
As a huge Gow fan since childhood, your in my books for one of the best gow followers!! Much love to you skyy❤
Yes, and he also plays the god of war ascension, that game is good.
“Don’t forget me All Fucka.”
I have been following your playthroughs from the first part, you have something special about you, keep going Sky!
I loved it.
Its been great sharing this game with you skyy!! The genuine reactions made me watch your walkthrough. Thanks for playing this GOAT game 🤟🏻
The final part is here, idk if I'm ready. GG on the playthrough of Ragnorok and the series 👏 looking forward to seeing what you explore next!
Watching Kratos cry has been one of the best scenes in the game
Such an emotional journey! My GOTY as well. Loved your bond with the game and your reactions...
Truly has a place in my heart ❤️
Thank you Santa Monica 🙏
Kinda surreal seeing Sigrun all calm and reasonable 😂
Mimir got game bruv lol
It has been an honor to accompany her in this story Sky has been full of epic and very emotional moments and that ending was incredible to see Kratos cry that left me speechless congratulations Sky
Favorite reaction of any. You get emotional at the same parts as I do because you understand Kratos’ history and the true weight of all these moments and dialogue
The ending of Kratos being the Champion made me ball. Watching his entire journey and to experience everything he suffered through....is just amazing. He deserves it all. He has such an INCREDIBLE come back. Fucking love it.
foi muito bom acompanhar você jogar, fico feliz que você tenha gostado também! abraço 💛
no matter how many times did I see this Faye & Kratos Love Story, tears are going and going...
If you think about it...we started This vesion of GoW with Funeral and we ended it with a funeral
Go explore all the realms. there are sooooo many pieces of story out there to wrap up a bunch of things, and some very funny things too!
Working on the platinum trophy now 😊
I’ve watched your whole God of War journey and loved every minute of it.
Especially after Zues and Odin told him that no one would ever love him like that
Sorry to hear about ur mom my mother passed too years ago its hard im still not really the same but im getting there
I’m sorry for your loss. Wish you well!
It's always a pleasure watching your playthroughs, I watched this alongside my own play for the first half and your reactions were so relatable. It'd be awesome to see you explore some of the extra lore in the favours and take on Gna and Hrolf! Thanks for taking us along the Path, Sky!
Too grieve deeply... is too have loved fully.. what amazing writing
Kratos seeing that shrine where ppl were actually worshipping him was so touching 😢😢😢. 17 years of character development
My favorite Faye quote: “To grieve deeply is to have loved fully”
You became one of my favourite streamers if not the favourite, you are geniune and you dont over react, your emotions are real and I love watching your playthrough. I would like also to say that you have beautiful smile. Thank you for this playthrough.
Insert Homelander meme for this Beautiful game :- Oh, I got to tell you, it was perfect. Perfect. Everything, down to the last minute details.
"To grieve deeply is to have loved fully." Great line.
BEEN SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!! I adored your playthrough 🥺
That makes me so happy to hear, thank you! 😊
I'll miss this series, excited for what comes next!
Finally I did watched your all videos! But I finished the story last month lol. So you will battle all berserker and Gna too. Good luck!!! I do believe you will beat them!!! 👌
Love how the music of the Ragnarok battle slowly shifts from this epic battle theme to a somber song of loss and defeat as each of the realm towers gets taken down
Such an amazing game. The story, the music, the characters, everything
I'm still heartbroken from what they did to Brok and Sindri tho :(
what a beautiful game . im really glad u played the old god of war stories and knowing what kratos have been through out the game.
1:38:35,,,here I feel emotional because I remember Odin once said to Kratos that he never felt people praying to him,but now kratos gets a prophecy that in the future people will worship him,Like the real gods.
Kratos was worshipped in Sparta, but as a destroyer, now it'll be different.
@@vodkaEditz yes that's what I meant. God Of War became God OF Piece.
I shed a little tear when I played this earlier this month, but I BAWLED my eyes out watching your reaction to the same thing! This has been such a great playthrough. I’m gonna have withdrawal symptoms for a while, I think. 😂
It was amazing watching your playthroughs of the God of War franchise Sky!!! ♥♥
What the hell! I never got emotionally affected by Pong or Packman. It was like watching a series, like GOT or Vikings. Thank you.
Heyy Sky,
I have been a fan of God of War franchise since 2011. I am really sad that this series has ended here for now :(
This is the best series ever and KRATOS is my favourite video game character of all time.
Great video sky, amazing journey. Can’t wait for the extra content here or on twitch.
Such a good play through 🍻, loved every episode and will definitely be watching your playing to 100% on twitch.
From the feared ghost of sparta. Worshipped during his time as a god for his brutality, a destroyer.
Now a hero, who will be worshipped as a savior
Talk about character development.
The destroyer of worlds."
It tears me up remembering everything he have gone through: losing his mother and brother, his Spartan wife and child, his homeland, being endlessly played and betrayed by mostly Gods and Titans of Greece.
Thank you so much for playing 🙏
Probably the greatest conclusion for a game can't believe this is the same kratos that was a unchained monster now to something else
There are many moments that went beyond any expectations, but one of my favorites is this:
Kratos finally got the chance to be wholeheartedly human again.
Loved everything the game and the journey with you ❤️ 10/10 everything was just perfect.
God I have watched 5 play throughs after mine and I still bawl my eyes out every time
Have thoroughly enjoyed all of your GoW play throughs. I haven’t played one since GoW 2 back in the PS2 days. I loved the whole redemption arc Kratos had through the last 2 games and just how overall epic the last 2 games were in general. Would love to see you play through the newer Tomb Raider series, Assassin’s Creed, and Mass Effect as recommendations!
there is always someone cutting onions in my room when Im watching this gameplay
I hope you do the end game stuff :)
This soundtrack. Man, so deserving that it got OST of the year. I can't remember a movie or game that invoked more emotion than this soundtracks did. This is like Last Samurai levels of OST.
