This is one of my favorite board games I've ever played. There are so many different ways to play and to approach the game. Last night we had a 4 player game were we all ended with a 20 point spread between first and last place. Fun game with so many ways to strategize it never really feels the same as the last game. I still dont think I've seen all the different spells in action yet. My buddy collected all the ignore monsters cards for the dungeon, the take an additional hit in the dungeon as well as entering the dungeon as it's own action. He cleared all the treasure and if he didnt have anything else to do would just go to the dungeon and essentially collect 15 gold because all that was left was the monster , which he ignored and collected one gold for. We had to start auctioning the wizards to end the game because he would have blew us out of the water if we let him just collect his 15 gold (15 vp) a turn. If the bank runs out of gold is that the cap for the game? Lol Love the video btw. Thanks for the content
This game is gorgeous! I have the kickstarter version with the deluxe pieces. My Question ❓❓ is: what are the four green gem-like pieces in the center of the box? I guess they kind of look like stalagmites. Also, when do you put in the trap cards?
There is a spell card that inserts a trap to the deck and those 4 crystal things are cosmetic tokens :) you put them in place a finished achievement token so it looks nice on the board. Only 4 every game, so 4 crystal pedestal.
Thank you for the video, it was great :) question about final scoring: if I have a matching wizard and a tower but also 2 matching spells, would i get 20 points? (10 for the pair and 5 per spell?) also what if I have 2 wizards and 1 tower that matches and 1 spell is it still 10 for the pair + 5 for the spell and then i have an unpaired wizard or? thanks for making this :)
Yes you’d get 20 assuming those matches spells were cast. On the second question yes you would Have an unmatched wizard and an unmatched wizard or tower is 1 point
@@TheGameBoyGeeks thanks for the answer :) that clears it all up :) Btw. I really liked the pacing and structure of your how to's :) need to keep en eye out for you channel :)
How do you tie for wizard? You go in circles (clockwise) auctioning. If I say I want it for 7, the person to my left (clockwise) needs to say they want it for 8 or more. How do you end in a tie? If i say 7, and the other person only has 7 mana, too bad, I win. You couldn't go/bid higher than my 7 mana
They count towards some achievements (get 5 necromancer as an example or get 7 familiars) = earning you 10vp for an achievement Or if you activate certain spells that now causes familiars to give you VP or gold On their own, without an achievement or spell, they are shit towards points. You just hold on to them

What size are the cards for sleeving purposes?
Question: If two players are tied in a bidding for a wizard, who wins the tie?
Best to use the link given in the description for more questions so the designer / publisher can chime in.
If it was your turn, chose to start a wizard auction, and lost. Don't you get to do another action?
yes
I'm here only on what's the use of the trap card
Nothing, just a chance to pull a trap card and it counts as 2 hits during dungeon and automatically ends your turn.
So its Racoon Tycoon but less accessible?
you have 0 respect for the game cards how are you a game uploader?
if u had respect for your cards would of subbed u explain well
I have no idea what you’re talking about
So the familiars. You place them back in the deck or you keep them? If you keep them, you can no longer use them? Do they add anything to scoring?
They count towards some achievements (get 5 necromancer as an example or get 7 familiars) = earning you 10vp for an achievement
Or if you activate certain spells that now causes familiars to give you VP or gold
On their own, without an achievement or spell, they are shit towards points.
You just hold on to them
