Another great video Jordy. I would have gone over the epoxy with a scotch Brite pad before adding the paint to give it something to stick to, so it doesn't peel off. Then you can spray on the sealer. I always get good ideas from your videos. You really inspire creativity in others. Your videos are also entertaining. Keep them coming.
Nice, you could dry brush some darker mica powder inside the mould before pouring instead of the black wash I think it would bring out the details really nicely and be embedded into the epoxy once cured so no chance of it eventually washing off can't wait for the next video
heck yea pretty cool turned out awesome!!! yep i got some cheap gloves too gots to put your hands in carefully or they will just rip thanks for the video!! can't wait to see whats next!! just remember with work you need that insurance!! Stay safe!!!
The dimensions 2"x6" is the green cut weight. As the wood dries, water escapes the wood. When the wood loses it's water weight/ moisture content the wood shrinks. It's dry dimensions become 1.5" x 5.5"
They were selling rough cut lumber that was still green. You would have to take it home, acclimated to the moisture percentage or content and your workspace for about 2 to 3 weeks. Then you would have to mill the lumber yourself. As construction lumber became more popular, the standardized the dimensions a premilled lumber, and called it construction grade. construction grade
I guess my comment got pulled... 🤔😳😬💁💁💁 Not sure why, I was the first to comment and said nothing negative whatsoever, and never do... this had happened many times and I wonder if it's haters flagging me for being nice and positive? Any way, I thought your carving was pretty impressive and I hope you continue doing well. 👍👍👍
@@CarvingFusion np Jordy, I think like AmyJo said, it's probably a glitch, and seems to be happening on other accounts as well. I think YT has reset my account so many times I've lost track. All my subs are gone (disappeared) and I'm back to zero again... kind of frustrating! 😡😡😡 Anyway, thank you for writing back and staying involved with your followers. Cheers 👍
"cuz I get shit done" gotta love this guy.

Could be a glitch. I commented earlier on a video and when I went back it was deleted. Weird when it does that.
Thank u and sorry I never seen your other comment
