God the way this trailer was edited really makes me all the more annoyed with how Arcsys and SNK do their character trailers. And this was just for a fan-made. Good shit all around though.

It's with the most recent trailers for KOF XV GG Strive where they show gameplay, but they don't really show proper combos or enders.

Wouldn’t make sense, because Kage is not Ryu.
Its a reference to the kage reveal trailer and in Mysterious Mod its not kage but Evil Ryu
That flash of darkness is what's missing from Kage's intro.

Evil Ryu is Ryu with the Dark Hado
Kage is just Ryu's Dark Hado but seperated from Ryu. Kage is necessary to have a Canonical Evil Ryu Playstyle for the Future because Ryu mastering the Path of Nothingness means no struggling with Darkness and no more Evil Ryu.
Just add ryu knocked body at one side, solved

Honestly, I don't think so. This is flashy and will please people who likes long combos. But at the end of the day, this is not Street Fighter core gameplay. Mysterious mode isn't something new, and there is a reason why it didn't outshine the main game. But of course, we can all admit this is a great trailer, and a very well made fan project.
actually I've seen combos from guile/gill/menat/urien that are longer than this
@@delsaber971 It's not there to outshine the main game. If there were tournaments for this like Reg SFV then that would be different. Its cool to see what's behind the curtain, especially with both V triggers, V skills, and CAs

1. What do you define as "Street Fighter core gameplay?"
2. Mysterious Mod never existed to "outshine the main game" nor will it ever exist for that sole purpose. In addition to that, no mod has ever outshined the main game. People will buy a game because it's heavily moddable like Skyrim or Witcher 3, but not because of one mod that a person made. Not to mention Omega Mode for SFIV was released as an alternate way to play SFIV by Capcom themselves but it never really replaced USFIV.
This is sf5 core game play. Its just that this character has way too many options to actually be functional. Sure the combos are cool but he would totally break the game, but yeah I get that its just a mod. It sure as hell looks cool though

@Victor Cavalcante no meed to be toxic, he's right, these combos are cool and all but adding them would make the game not street fighter anymore, they could fit on marvel vs capcom but definitely not here, however this guy needs to help capcom on making character reveals
@@idk72. This is not even bad. Compared to Urien combos in V, Boom Loops with Guile in V, ANYTHING Dudley in IV, ANYTHING E. Ryu in IV, Menat in V, etc this is not exactly unreasonably long, especially for a unique character like Oni

I wouldn’t be surprised if some of these concepts are introduced into SF6 Akuma. EX teleport is forsure happening potentially with a guaranteed strike follow ups based on P or K. Or a 100% safe bypass option.
I definitely want some follow ups out of teleport, and maybe even a cancel so you can do normals and specials out of it. EX Teleport would probably be almost no recovery and for surprise attacks and projectile setups
@@realchezboi There’s an extreme amount of potential in a character like Akuma. You then pair him in a game that is about emphasizing integrity while making it entirely new has masterpiece potential. They made Ryu and Honda of all characters interesting. Can’t wait, or maybe I fear for the day Akuma’s released lol.
But yeah teleport has so many options that the od version could be a get out of jail free card, have follow ups for combos that may be plus, or even a mix up tool were akuma can special cancel a special like his VT2 in SFV. A cancel in teleport now thinking about it seems extremely possible wow.
I also think he gets his armored parry back as well.

OMG! THIS! Oni was my main in SF4 and I always said to myself that I will only buy SFV when they add Oni. The trailer is badass, the character is badass and all the people that worked on it are badass. I would buy the game ONLY to install this mod. But I want to buy the mod, not download it for free.
