Those Olys are pretty sturdy for a plastic cameras. I've got two of them also; other one quartzdate model. Looking forward for that review. There's not many reviews about AF-1.
I’ve got the same camera but when I try to load film it makes the loading noise for a couple of seconds then stops and it hasn’t loaded the film and won’t let me take any photos, where the number should change there’s just always a red S. Do you know what’s wrong with it?
Not sure what could be happening, maybe pull the film a little more or less to see if its that. You need to feed it the right amount for the camera to load it.
It can detect it if the film has a DX code, its a code on the film cassette that will give info on the ISO to the camera, if not it will have a default setting of ISO 100.
ok, I just tried my luck....around the plastic lens cover is a sort of rubbery-plastic cover. It is possible to peal it off. Once this removed, I used a craft knife to remove the plastic lens cover ! It looks great now! Eager to see the test results and hope this increases sharpness !
Not stupid at all, that number is 24x36mm (its the frame size per picture). You will be able to shoot all 36 pictures without a problem, sometimes even 37.
Hi, in your opinion, if I try to cover the flash, I get underexposed photos? I would like to use the AF-1 for street photography, but the automatic flash bothers me. Thank you
I have one of these cameras and love it. A piece of history for Olympus camera fans.
The have now gone out of business after 84 years.
What is the meaning of “S” beside the shutter button?

우지김wooggeem I pulled the film exactly like he did and it worked. Seemed like you can’t pull the film out to much or too little
Ki battery kahan se milati hai
Who makes that strap on your camera? Pretty nifty strap.
Thanks! Its the strap froma shopping bag, like a clothes store.
Does the Camera know what Sensitivity Film was inserted? It decides how long to open the lens and if or not to use the flash, right?

@@vasilakiz haha, that's one way to solve the problem :) I think I will look for a broken one and see if I can figure out how to open it !

Where is the review video?
Maybe a stupid question but can you shoot a whole 36 Photo film? In the Manual it says 24x36mm so I’m not quite sure about that.
Thanks!

Hi! Where did you buy the film for this camera if you don't mind my asking?

I notice that the curtain of my af1 does not open when I photograph, could it be a low battery problem?
It could be, but p&s are starting to fail at a faster pace as they age.
