This game was double jumping before all the cool kids started doing it. Also, holy borderline copyright infringement batman! Metroids, Freddy Krueger, and a character who is very reminiscent of a Ghostbuster.... Other than that, a neat game. Makes me think of Psycho Soldier with the forced scrolling.
well, they also made Knuckle Bash (published here in The States by Atari) which was a beat-'em-up, an a rather quirky yet good one; and let's not forget OutZone & Fixeight which both were overhead run-&-gun shooters... so yeah!
This game is hardcore when you play single through because you can't respawn in same place when you get hit. You will respawn at certain checkpoint of the stage
I'll be honest, if the Ghostbusters reboot included scenes where they vaporize the fucking ghosts with guided missiles and Adam-West-style bombs like they do in this game, I would have gone to see it.

The double jump of this game is dreadful, I remember trying to play this game and double jump failing most of time.
You can double jump only when ascending in first jump. While descending, the double jump does not work.
neetrain Also, you can't double jump pressing rapidly, it will fail.
Daniel Menelkir This double jump needs a quick button tap. For a least give 0.3 second for you to press the jump button again
